Doubled the rep reward on the PTR for patch 2.2 (as of 07/15/07), now gives 50 (55 human) for completing the quest, and 100 (110 human) for using the token.

These tokens give hundred rep each... I solo Stratholme for rep... Takes me about 1 hour per run, and it gives me about 2000 rep each time.. Easy rep.

Remeber; while each token is worth 100 rep, the turn in is worth 50- so each stack of scourgestones (20,10 or 1) is worth 150 rep.

Though after patch 4.0.3 all quests associated with Argent Dawn Valor Token have been removed, it still gives +100 reputation to Argent Dawn per use, if you have any left in storage.

If you still have it, It will STILL grant you the +100 rep. With the Guild Bonus, you can get up to +110 rep per token. I just did this today, so it will still grant rep if you have them.

Once you turn in the scourgestones you get these tokens. Right click them to recieve a ~.2% reputation increase with Argent Dawn.

In order to maximize your pay off for scourgestones:
Don't turn in any stones for tokens for a long time:

You stop getting rep for killing non-elites half way through Friendly.
You stop getting rep for killing elites half way through honored.

I do not know when you stop getting rep for:
Killing the named mobs,
turning in Scrouge stones,
using valor tokens,
completing the cauldron quest. Does anyone here have that information?

Yeah, but epic isn't called so for nothing. You can farm for hours or even days before you even see a RARE drop. That's just a rare drop. So if you want to sit on your ass for days on end to get an epic item from a normal mob, be my guess. Not a worthwhile comparison, in fact, it's about the exact same difficulty as raising your reputation with Argent Dawn. The only place where epics drop reliably are Onyxia, Molten Core, and Blackwing Lair. But even so, getting to those places is fairly difficult without a large, experience guild.

Contrary to what you say, Epics do not grow on trees. Even crafted epics take a large amount of money and time to get the materials to make.

But, yes, your point that raising your reptutation with the Argent Dawn is right... there needs to be something good at exalted. Hell, maybe an epic mount, since it'd be about as hard to obtain as the epic mount from Alterac Valley.

CAn buy items from Argent quartermaster Lightspark out side tent where you turn in scourgestone. Must be at least 5% friendly with argent to buy first item, which is food restoring mana and health, rest of items must be honoured and/or revered.

A correction to the above post: rep stops gaining for killing non-elite mobs at 5999 -- one point below honored. You have to turn in at least one set of scourge stones or use a valor token to click over the threshold.

The Baron mount can drop from Baron regardless of reputation of you or the group, it doesn't matter.

During Neutral and Friendy, you will get rep for killing non-elite undead, elite undead, cauldron quests, handing in scourge stones, doing AD quests and handing in Healthy Dragon Scales from scholo.

During Honored, you will only get rep for killing elite undead, cauldron quests, handing in scourge stones, doing AD quests and handing in Healthy Dragon Scales from scholo.

During Revered you will only get rep for cauldron quests, handing in scourge stones, doing AD quests and handing in Healthy Dragon Scales from scholo.

Getting exalted is really hard and painful.

i turned in 8 of my argent dawn valor tokens for various craftsman's writs. these are not worth it. i got the following tasks:

30 plated armorfish
30 lightening eel
14 thorium tubes
6 brightcloth pants
4 runic leather pants
3 radiant circlets
20 goblin sapper charges

the advantage to turning in the token for a writ is on completion of the task you receive an insignia which can be turned in for rare or epic gear - instead of +25 rep you would get for turning in the token by itself. it is definatly worth it to collect the tokens, but the writs are not the way to do it. you can buy the requred materials (30 bone fragments, 30 fiend parts, 30 savage frond, or 30 dark iron) for insignia of the dawns/crusades for much cheaper than completing any of these tasks.

As of 2.0.1

To exchange for a craftsman writ gives you 10 rep and the writ

To use the Argent Dawn Valor token gives you 50 rep

At least, thats the rep I get at revered.

So clearly, using the tokens will give you the most advantage at revered.

Turn in gives you 50 rep, using the token gives 100. That's double what it used to be. I had enough for 100 turn ins. This is going to be interesting.

As of patch 2.3 It is November 26th, and I used a few to get to Revered, (Human Warlock LvL 70), 110Pts. each before and after revered. (+10% Rep gain for humans......over other classes) included.

For what its worth, i'm half way through honoured and i get rep for slaying Crypt Slayers, Dark Adepts and Shadowmages. All found in The Noxious Glade.

I think the later patches must have changed the Rep now.
I'm Honoured and still get a few rep from half the mobs I kill.

When you get reverd you get a quest. To complete it bring 10 valor tokens. After you completed qouest you will be able to buy 5+ in fire, nature, arcane or frost resistance for 9g each that can be enchanted to a shulder-item.
You will only be able one at a time.

Just hit Revered not too long ago, but when farming the Browman Mill area in EPL, I didn't have any stones drop off the mobs. Are these attainable anywhere after revered? Like only in instances?

With the latest patch (version 2) the Argent Dawn tokens now give 50 rep when you use them. Apparently Blizzard is helping us get AD rep (an d Nax attunement) more quickly in anticipation of BC.

At revered you get a quest from the quartermaster to turn in 10 of these. That 'unlocks' the ability to purchase shoulder resistance items, which you have to buy with gold.

Are they worth saving? Here's what they're needed for:

One time only:
10x 银色黎明勇气勋章 - 黎明衬肩 available at Revered.
25x 银色黎明勇气勋章 - 多彩黎明衬肩 available at Exalted.
1x 银色黎明勇气勋章 - 梅兹的文书 available in Phase 6.

Repeatable:
1x 银色黎明勇气勋章 - 工匠文书 available in Phase 6.

Aside from the resistance enchants, the only use for these as a currency is to obtain 密封的工匠文书, which grants a random turn-in quest (list here).

Completing 工匠文书 grants 10 reputation, and completing a turn in quest grants 50 reputation, as well as one 黎明徽记 or 十字军徽记. The difference is 35 reputation for not consuming the token.

However, nearly all of these quests are incredibly expensive to complete, and are generally not seen as worth it for a very small reputation gain.
