Very good headpiece for rogues and crit-oriented ferals. Consider that headpiece from Rend Blackhand(https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=12587) got like 7 more strengh and lower stamina. Of course, some rogues prefer go for AP, but if I remember pre-raid days correctly, at lvl52 you want to get all crit chance possible, and this babe gives you +2% crit at 60.
Also, its alot easier to get than all the possible replacements.

Did like 10 runs on him yesterday..
Found 2 Hurley's Tankard and 1 black dimond..
but no Eyepatch.. 30%? Dont think so.

Just to clear things up -

This drops, pretty clearly, from Hurley Blackbreath in Blackrock Depths. To get him to spawn you just run into the bar and take an immediate left. There is a rather good sized room with nothing in it besides 3 clickable Kegs. Destroy each of these 3 kegs and give it a second before Hurley shouts and walks down into the room where you are.

He brings 3 guards with him, all elites. They are only 52, 53s if I remember right.

I don't know if the bar will become agro once you attack him so I would deffinatly pull away from the door once you're ready to fight.

This little cap could in fact look good on a feral druids skull. A druid in catform will benifit greatly from this piece I think

HE does not agro anyone in the bar if killed. I reccomend killing in empty room with kegs just so u feel better tho.
I repeat HE DOESNT AGRO ANY OTHER PERSON IN BAR>

I have to agree with Defektunge, agility is more beneficial than a single point or 2 of % to crit, on a rogue, since agi. helps them so much, where as on a shaman a single pt. or 2 might be better, since agi. doesn't help their atk power or chance to dodge as much, if at all.

it is not worth it to get a Brd group well atleast after Bc for this it really isnt that good even for a rogue I'd say just go when ur around 51-55 to get weps or what armor drops then just go buy bc gear

very good for feral druids cous of the critchance and the stats :) and btw black rock depths is a very worthint instance even with the burning crusade

I killed Hurley like 15 times with a group of 3 rogues...he never droped it..maybe we are just unlucky

Is it just me.. or how does using only one eye IMPROVE your critical strike rate? Shouldn't it decrease?

I got it after getting my friend to stealth run with me to him, on the 3rd try it droped.
I have also been doing BRD on my other characters but I've only seen it drope twice including this time.

A pirate wears an eye patch so that he can have one eye adjusted to the dark. This way when it’s too dark in a fight he changes the covered eye so that he uses the adjusted one in the fight. This is obviously an advantage for the pirate....
