I'm using the addon, I like it but have 1 issue with it. I wish it had a back button so I could select a different setting without having to do a /reload.
I like that we can collect them, but they really need to add Arsenals of them, this makes you have to play so many alts to get everything.
In a mode that is all about easy to obtain transmogs and, everything on a vendor learnable by all characters, that they still choose to put hundreds of unique weapon recolors in a limited time event gated not only by RNG, but personal spec-specific loot is infuriating. It's like the left hand and the right hand are not taking to each other. "Account wide everything" except weapons.
How is this any different from AllTheThings, but worse/limited?
But why? There's already All The Things that covers everything and then also way more than this addon does.
Those mentioning the All The Things add on... Yes, everything is on the addon, but the addon itself is massive, and some people just want something small, to track remix mogs. Of all the addons I have, ATT is bigger than all of my other addons combined. This one doesn't look like it would bog down your PC nearly as much.
how will knowing which ones I don't have help them come out of the loot boxes ?
Might check it out. I have done the entire Townlong/Dread Waste campaign, including rares and some general mob grinding, on a monk, DH, rogue, and paladin, and I have yet to see either of the 1 handed Tian swords. None of the other 15ish weapons I've targeted were remotely this hard to get. I don't know what else I can be doing to get those things to drop, besides MORE MORE MORE.
Would be nice if Remix addons had Remix in the name of them so it makes it more obvious they're for that event. It'd also make it easier to enable/disable addons for timerunners compared to normal toons. Keep thinking that such and such would be a good idea for an addon, but when I go search for it, no one has it, and I'm not addon savvy enough to create my own. I then find out someone did create one but it didn't have Remix in the title so I didn't find it. Remix: Trove Tally or Trove Tally Remix would make finding the addon without it being advertised by a site like WoWhead a lot easier. On another note, if it takes 2-3 minutes to load the game with ATT, what hard drive are you running the game on? I have WoW on an M.2 with something like 100 addons including ATT, DBM, Altoholic, GatherMate, Rarity, and HandyNotes, and I take maybe 10-15 seconds to load. When I take longer, it's usually server lag and even then it's maybe 30 seconds. I used to run WoW on an SSD before then and roughly the same loading times. If you're still running WoW on an IDE drive, the game will be slower to load. Not all motherboards support M.2 drives, but SSDs are fairly cheap these days and most motherboards support SATA drives. A small one (256-512 gb) can easily be used for WoW and are fairly cheap nowadays. Sales are also fairly frequent. Getting one would be a drastic improvement in loading times even for an older computer without having to upgrade memory, CPU, or GPU. I got my first SSD years ago when I got mad at WoW and SWTOR taking forever to load. While it didn't help SWTOR much (game was a massive resource hog in general), it loaded WoW faster. I'd never put WoW back on an IDE. Just something to consider if your computer is really that slow.
Give us Arsenals, or give us Death.... of Remix's design philosophy.
