Upon looting you will receive this FoS called They're Both Footballs?

I received the Pigskin from a gift and then went to Dalaran and purchased the Foot Ball. I did not get the achievement. In order to get the achievement it seems like it has to come from the gifts. :(

Got the 2012 Pigskin in the Stolen Present from the event daily, on an alt, and the Football from another. It seems you have to drop them both on same toon to get credit. You can see that both have 'duplicates' on the toybox (also there are different IDs for each), and will count on the 150 toy achievement.

To prove you still can get FoS, got the Clockwork Rocket Bot from 2007 FoS, on THIS year's event from daily box reward.

You can bring there on the yeti your level 80+ alts and farm these while you still can, once you drop either of them you can then only farm it on the toon that dropped it, for the FoS.

So, I've been trying to do this '17 and '18. I got the toys on two different toons and I obvs didn't get the FoS.
Read a lot about it on here so I've tried my luck and wrote two tickets even. First reply was just the regular "can't help you - soz" bs.
The second GM wrote that it should be possible to get the items more than once. If anyone could reply if they got the toy when already having both I'd really appreciate that.

GMs aren't any help these days... /sigh

DO NOT ADD THE TOY TO COLLECTION BEFORE ACHIEVEMENT.

If you will, then droprate for it will be way lower than it already is...
Days later I still get food only...

I've had both of these toys for years and recently noticed I was missing this achievement. I can say for sure if you already have the item in your toybox that the drop rate is drastically lowered. After multiple GM tickets they've informed me that there was nothing they can do and that you need to receive both of the items on the same character to get credit. They recommended submitting a bug asking that the drop rate not be lowered for those that have already learned the toy. Hopefully if enough people report it this will be fixed next time the holiday comes around.

Edit 2024: Praise be, after 5+ years they enabled you to get the Feat of Strength. All you have to do is use the toys The Pigskin and Special Edition Foot Ball on another player.

Blizz, please fix this acheivement or remove it at this time. With the confusion of fact that you can buy it from a vendor and the fact that it has a reduced drop change if you have it, and you have to get it on the same toon (which noone is going to know). It would be better to remove this acheivement at this time or give us a way to track what toon as part of it, or the source of where we got the ones that we got, or don't reduce the drop rate on them if you have them.

Still hasn't been fixed (if it ever was going to be?) .. I looted pigskin today on my horde alt and did not receive the achievement :(

Another year to try to get the achievement even though I have both toys already. Dropped on two different characters though, so no achieve.

For those who are still hunting, here's the script to see which toy dropped on a character. Until Blizz decides to fix it, maybe at least the player can focus on running the appropriate toons if time is limited.

Achieved on the 21st of December. Here's what I learned and I hope this helps many during this Holiday season.

.Had the special edition football already from years ago, "The Pigskin" was achieved on one of my alts in the stolen present. like most said, FoS can still be earned from years past.

As I learned the Pigskin jumped over to my main, to come find out the FoS wasn't obtained, hit up a GM with an open ticket, GM says "the trick" is to learn both on the same character to earn the FoS. Which is a lie because due to the new warband system all mounts, pets, achievements ETC is on a one scale system. I told the GM either change the in-game code or the warband system that allows you to relearn multi toys and what not on various toons, If that's how they want to play that game.

I said whatever and just threw both the Pigskin and special edition football at someone in raid and there I was granted the achievement.

So if you have both toys! Just throw them at someone and you will earn the FoS! I have seen numerous posts about other players not being able to earn it and GM's nowadays don't know what their talking about.

I stood in Siren Isle, not grouped, used the Pigskin and the SPECIAL football on a random player and got the achieve. The normal foot ball didn't give it to me (I tried that first).

This seems to have been fixed with patch 11.1.5 going live.
Now it's account wide, making things much easier :)
