Very useful, it groups your herbs in one bag so you don't accidentally sell them if they're in your backpack.

Unless you have an Herb Bag with more slots, there's no excuse to not buy one of these. This is a beginning Herbalist's best friend.

Ironically, one place you CAN'T buy this pouch is Thunder Bluff, capital city of the tauren (with their +15 herbalism bonus as a racial specialty)!

The 24 slot pattern is in CH in Silithus next to the guy who gives the Field Duty quest. You need revered with CC to buy it.

For those that still don't have 12-slots or more, this is a neat little upgrade from their 8-slotters until later. (There's also a warlock version now gained from the succubus quest: rather small, but appropiate for the level at which you get it)

Either all of you that have posted play as Horde, or you just haven't been to Stormwind. In the Mage District there is a merchant that sells these things at 10s, no strings attached. If people buy this from you at a higher price, you're ripping them off. Find better ways to make money.

What I did want to know is that, since it's a green item, can it be disenchanted? It's the only green item I've seen for sale by a vendor, so I'm not sure...

I�m a herbalist lvl 44. Can�t equip the herb pouch, why is that? Can�t put it in the pouch slots.

They're worse than regular bags, yes, but at a high discount. 12 slot bags go for over a gold for reqular vendors, and since herbalists need a place to put their herbs......wait a minute, why am I saying this; it's just easier to call you stupid.

It would be cooler if they made them have fewer slots but be able to just go inside your other bags. There should also be a fish bucket and.. Maybe a first aid case or soemething.

you can find them in Darandass, there is a vendor next to the herbalism trainer(ask a guard for directions), i guess there is a vendor next to the herbalists in other towns too, just look around ;)

Funny that I see people trying to flog these on the auction house for as much as, or more than, a regular 12 slot bag.

The types of people that play these games... just amazing. I don't know which makes me despair more, the types of people who try to pull this off, or that someone out there just might be dumb enough to fall for it.

Edit: the 'median price' just further supports the theory that there are a lot of fake submissions. There's a high price of 99g. I mean come on. I don't believe that for a second (even taking into account how stupid people can be).

This is just a "starter" bag... the big herb bag patterns (20 and 24 slot) can be purchased off this merchant...

Let's give Tauren Cultivation as a racial bonus (+15 to herbalism) and NOT sell these bags in their home city. We'll have to make sure they are in all other major cities though.

I bought one of these just because I had taken up herbalism, and soon concluded I had wasted my money. As a hunter I already had one bag slot taken up by a quiver, so having another taken up by a herb bag left me with too little room to carry other items before my inventory would fill up. So I banked it and for what herb gathering I did I used my regular bags.

A few levels later, when my bank slots filled up and I needed to buy my first bag slot, I realized the herb bag was the perfect choice for it. Several of the slots were taken up by stacks of herbs so using the herb bag freed up more of them than a regular bag would have.

That char is now in her 40s (level-wise). I still have that herb bag. It stays in the bank most of the time, but sometimes when I'm in a city and want to use its contents to build my alchemy skills I'll trade it out with my quiver.

While not technically an herb, I would think Berries (the reagent for Gift of the Wild) would fit into the herb pouch, like some other reagents do, before dirt (Un'Goro Soil) does o.0

Some time back I tried putting Wild Berries into one of these herb pouches along with other reagents sitting quietly inside said herb pouch.

No good. Pouch said, "No berries allowed . . . surely, you must be joking!" Imagine my surprise. A talking bag. No, wait. This is about berries and dirt. See, it confuses me, still.

Today, I'm playing around in Un'Goro. Check this particular herb pouch for something, and find that the Un'Goro Soil I had been collecting along the way had been auto depositing itself into the herb pouch. (Bag had been snickering softly behind my back this entire time!)

Inconsistency across all of the tradeskills is common . . . and, sometimes, annoying ;-p

So... why bother? Ammo pouches and quivers increase shoot speed, soul shard pouches are huge, but this? Don't see the point.

Chardryn is in Darnassus not Darnassis...ya I know it's petty but when you are new to the game running around looking for a city that doesn't exist is frustrating, until you look at the map and realize that it was a typo.
