Snap Snagglebolt can be found in Orgrimmar, just outside of the bank. He'll ask you to complete the quest Something Stinks, which starts a new questline, most likely leading up to this one.

For those who don't know where SFK it is in the Silverpine Forest. This is just south of UC.

I can say definitively that you do NOT need to do the bread-crumb quests in Org. I logged in this morning, traveled directly to SFK, went inside, and picked up the quest from the goblin at the doorway into the large courtyard.

Be advised that this leads to a group quest. If you treat it as a soloable quest, you'll likely end up wasting your daily shot at the 3 apothecary bosses. Assemble a well-rounded group before setting out for Shadowfang Keep.

People say you don't need to do the breadcrumb quests from Inspector Snip Snagglebolt near the entrance to the Stormwind bank. You do. At least on classic. Until I completed those, it said "You are ineligible for this quest" (when I moused the link provided by someone who had it). I went to SFK and helped everyone else but couldn't start the quest.

Once you've done those quests from the inspector (ever) as best as I can tell then you can transparently get the quest from inside without getting it from the inspector. That's my best take.

The info box could use a correction update (or updates, depending on your choice of solution). The Alliance version of this page () has got plain (bold) unlinked text on Man on the Inside (of course, because that is the page you are on) and the Alliance icon before the text. Normally, I would have suggested that this page (quest=24793/man-on-the-inside) gets the same treatment, a horde icon and white unlinked text. Seeing as the current linked text is a useful shortcut to the alliance version, why not make the change there, and link the horde page (here) from there? (Sorry if this seems like a waste of time. I just appreciate consistency.)

By the way, this is what I find when I look up the HTML source:

I presume the correct icon to preface the quest name should be "icon-horde-padded" and not linked, or linked and adjusted on the quest=24792 page.
