I found it inside the Alliance South Bank from an NPC called Apprentice Nelphi. The Horde equivalent I've seen so far is a NPC called Dark Ranger Vorel, patrols from the North Bank and around Dalaran.

HOW TO FIND THE DUNGEON ENTRANCE

It is located at the top of the 'E' in Icecrown on your world map. It is located at a high elevation.

If you found the raid entrance (you will see that the main door has been knocked open by a ballista), then fly upwards and to the right. You will see Argent Crusade flags hanging about. That is your entrance.

This quest is an optional prereq. The chain can be started on 'Echoes of the Tortured Souls' even if you do not pick up this quest in Dalaran.

Ive a big problem with this quest-string. Managed the seccond, but didnt enter the portas as required to deliver to Proudmore. Instead I just left through the Dungeon Finder and then entered into The Pit of Saron through that again. When that was done, I couldnt a) deliver and b) restart the seccond when I deleted The Pit of Saron, as I got when the last Boss fell inside Echoes of Tortured Sould. Suggestions, anyone? Please mail me...

Same problem here.. I have completed the 2nd part The Forge of Souls and killed the 2 bosses. I have the achievement, but I still have the quest to 'hand in'.. but when I go to Jaina she doesn't give me the next part of the quest or let me hand in and get the emblems or in fact anything.

I see that the instance locks say they will be reset in 5 hours.. is this relevent?

I am probably being a bit dumb, but does this instance have a different name in the Dungeon Finder?

Just got this quest and although this can be handed in when manually going to the entrance, I am actually trying to do the instance as that is what the follow up requires.

Is it a raid instance?

My boyfriend and I were planning on going into the Forge of Souls and completing all of the quests to eventually go to Halls of Reflection. His gear is AMAZING but it's not that bad either. I don't know what the requirements are, so if someone could help me out that'd be great.

To add to the discussion of the instance itself, it's pretty easy. Make sure to have a tank that knows what he/she is doing. The quests are pretty easy as well. ;]

The coords are okay, but u HAVE TO go INSIDE a cave-like thingie, and go INSIDE the Forge of Souls dungeon to hand in the starter quest.
