For anyone having issues with the 'Fire honey placed into mortar' part, the Fire Honey is over next to the entrance, not near the furnace where you might expect.

There's an extra action button to place the honey in the mortar. It didn't appear for me until i reloaded.

Specifically on this one, after mashing up the clay, you have to go over to the entrance behind you to pick up the honey, then you bring it back to the table where you've mashed up the clay and click the extra button that appears, to add the honey into the pot with the clay.

Description

Ramoliths! Magnificent, aren't they? One of the finest elemental beasts on the isle. The bad news is they're not immune to injury. Poor Shalehoof here was attacked by awakened elementals in Farnee's pond. The good news is that we have all we need to tend to him. We just have to mix that clay you found with some fire honey and slap it up on ol' Shalehoof's hock! Ready?
