This whole questline is horrible. Takes ages. All those mobs take very long to kill. Killed dozens of them, and then you get another quest to kill even more.

The way the quest is supposed to work is you're supposed to get a buff/aura called "Protection of the Ebon Flight" (it has a red bat wing icon), but that buff is seemingly randomly applied and taken away from you with no consistency. The uptime on the buff for these quests should be 100%, but it will fall of at times and is incredibly difficult to get re-applied. I have tried a number of methods to get it to re-apply with no success; including changing zones, joining/leaving groups, flying out of the zone entirely. The only one that seems to have success is dying and then rezzing, which makes the quest chain take much longer and gives you a hefty repair bill. It's clearly bugged and incredibly frustrating

If you can't find the Earthdrainer Conduits, it's because they're a little northeast of where you destroy the cores. Don't be fooled by the circle around Djin, that's just an optional world objective unrelated to the quest

Seems that buff you are supposed to get still just disappears leaving you in a painful situation.

The Primalist Stonegrinders can continually cast Seismic Shield, helping them stay alive longer, and Awakened Avalanche, which increases the number of mobs. If you happen to take ANY aggro from the elites, prepare to have half your health wiped out in a few hits unless you are a tank, and drawing aggro from the adds means that you die soon after.

Blizzard does not consider that everyone might not have an iLevel of over 9000, so I wonder how many times they test the quest and the power and HP of the enemies. My thoughts is that they rarely test them at all, and set the values haphazardly.

The Earthdrainer Conduits are at 29.5 54.6 or so. The Extracted Elemental Cores are in the area of 29 50 or so. Good Hunting!

Description

Up ahead, the Primalists are working to awaken the Zaqali's final elder. When we used the farsight totem earlier, I observed that they were draining something from the elder. Now I realize it is likely an attempt to dispel the magic keeping the elder in stasis. They are using elemental cores to contain the magic in the same way we did to cleanse Sabellian. Fyrakk absorbing shadowflame is disastrous. We cannot add an elder awakening to that threat. We must halt their efforts.
