I'll put this here too since there's nothing about it:
Edit: Apparently this is on mains too.

Figured I would put this on here since I doubt many people are doing alts this early and there are probably a few others out there spending a boatload of time trying to figure out what they are doing wrong. The storyline is stuck at "Raise your renown with the major factions of the Dragon Isles to continue the campaign." Be warned there is a bug right now where you can complete this questline and still not get completion credit for Open Orientation.

First character got his full completion but alt did not. There seems to be a few weird things happening with alts right now. Confirmed that I had done everything in this questline including the actual orientation quests themselves. I am somehow missing the completion credit for the Open Orientation quest itself. This completely bricks the storyline. All Blizzard says to do is to go to Wowhead for help and that's what I'm doing here to help stop people from spending countless hours of figuring out what they are supposed to be doing. Hopefully this helped someone out there who is lost.

Not sure if this was confusing for anyone else, but the steps of the campaign quest "Open Orientation" show up as four non-campaign quests.

So if you are looking at the main campaign quest to track progress you'll be confused as to why there isn't more info. You should look for each individual quest to finish this.

This questline can be confusing because some of the quests show highlighted circles on top of the tower. The turn-in point for the quest is actually at the bottom of the tower inside. I spent two days thinking that this quest was bugged, it wasn't for me.

Since it has been about a week - has anyone found a work around? Still not able to even see/accept this quest. I have done the mini quests Orientation Iskarra , Orientation: Valdrakken, Orientation: Marruuki, and Orientation: Dragonscale Basecamp - I confirmed in game via the tracking command that all of those are true, however the one for Open Orientation is not appearing and it is bricking me from being able to progress the campaign.

After You finish Storyline Just Don't Ask Me to Spell It You will be able to do Quest Renown of the Dragon Isles which is leading to 3 Quests:

I Aiding the Accord - This quest is weekly. You need collect 4000 repoutation. Reputation can be collect from WQ, simple Quests, Events on map which are giving reputatnion and ect.
Reward: Valdrakken Treasures: 500 rep for all main fractions, 5 Depleted Primal Chaos, 150 Dragon Isles Supplies and Thrumming Celestial Arrangement 353ilvl.
After You done this quest In next Week You can get other simular quest. In total is 5 Weekly Quests but You will get only 1. Reward from all of them are same.

Weekly Quest List is on botom of comment.

III. Learning Ingenuity - This Quest i leading to storyline and is part of achievement In Tyr's Footsteps. Descryption on deferent comment on wowhead.

Even if you don't have lvl 70 You will be able to pick them all.

Weekly Quest List - Every week You will get 1 of this Quests:

1. Aiding the Accord - This Quest is first all the time due to Quest chain. But in late You will need to colllect only 3000 Reputation.

2. Aiding the Accord: Dragonbane Keep - You need to collect 3000 of any reputation + You need to finish Siege on Dragonbane Keep.
Siege on Dragonbane Keep is unlock at 5 renown with Valdrakken Accord, at 5 renown small dragon will appear next to you and will give you quest To Dragonbane Keep!.
Siege on Dragonbane Keep is start every 2 hours to join even You just need to fly /way 30.59 78.35, and just wait until event will start, when You finish this Even Objective for quest will be done as well You will get Dragonbane Keep Strongbox ( only from first one in week after next one You will get Dragonbane Keep Strongbox )

3. Aiding the Accord: A Feast For All - You need to collect 3000 of any reputation + You need to finish Community Feasts ( but not even only task during event ).
Community Feasts is unlock at 3 renown with Iskaara Tuskarr and is repeats many times a day. To take place in order Fly to /way 13.59 48.59, After start it You will get task to do, after 10 sec will ask You to get 3 Ancheevy You can pick them up /way 12.98 48.81, behind Arv. When You get 3 go back to POT and use Extra spell bar to throw Ancheevy, After You done this activity You should finis objective for Quest. You dont need to finish Event to get count objective for quest.

4. Aiding the Accord: The Hunt is On - Will up date when i will have Quest.

5. Aiding the Accord: The Isles Call - Will up date when i will have Quest.

I don't understand why my alts have to go and learn where everything is when my main has already run through everything and I know where everything is. That's why they're alts, you don't need to be shown everything since you've done it all by now.

I've come across a few quests that won't complete unless you are in War Mode. This method worked for me on my alt.

Pick up the quest at 13.14, 49.27 (Murik)
Arvik is the Equipment Supplier (13.17, 48.52)

Hanu even though it says on the mini map that he is one of the NPCs. He is not.

Drake Scholar is Norukk (12.93, 48.62)

Tatto is the Mount supplier (13.19,48.82)

Arvik is the Equipment supplier 13.18,, 48.53

Rokkutuk is the recipe supplier (13.91, 50.08)

I'm doing this on my main and only had to do Valdrakken orientation; the other three were already completed (despite never doing these quests before). Kinda sucks because I do actually want to know where to go lol

For the Dragonscale Basecamp leg of your journey, if you've talked to all the people, have a ? but no Toddy Whiskers to be seen for the turn-in, try logging out and logging back in. This worked for me. Hope this helps someone! This is what I came here for (where is she?) so I am glad that logging resolved the issue.

If you happen upon this quest on an alt that didn't journey through the intro quests to the Waking Shore, you might be frustrated to not see Toddy Whiskers in the tent to turn in the quest Orientation: Dragonscale Basecamp.

I found that Toddy was available in the tent after I went back to some of the starting area quests and got through My First Real Emergency!, which is the quest in Wingrest Embassy that calls Wrathion and Selistra.
