Was Ekatri supposed to still be alive when you got their signet? Seems weird they'd hand that over if they're still alive, but they were definitely still on their feet for me. Given the corpse of the Sundered Flame attacker next to them I honestly thought they were victorious.

This quest has somewhat strange fatalistic design, for some reason completely ignoging a chance to set up intrigue. Why does it go with "collect their horn signets" right away, without even checking if anyone's alive, maybe wounded? We can see a few dead ambushers there, so obviously it's suggested they were fighting back. Why characters assume they failed?..

Just saying, it could be done with the same outcome, but with a bit more involvement on player's side.

Man, screw this quest. Stop giving us new characters to start connecting to and making it appear we'll be interacting with them more as the story goes only to kill them minutes later. It feels terrible and cheap.
