All of the appearances can be obtained from Rae'ana after completing this quest. So choose the one you want most, but you'll be able to get all of them eventually. She is located at (47.92, 82.10).

The tools you can pick from, probably depend on your class.
As a warlock, I couldn't pick the mallet.

Accepted and completed this quest on my Blood Elf Hunter but there were no rewards offered for some reason.

Seems to be bugged as to which items display to be selected as rewards. After completing this quest on several characters, the only item that I had not unlocked was the Excavator's Chisel, but was only shown the Excavator's Punch when trying to complete it again as a rogue.

I "thought" I had Blizz's "logic" for which choices are offered all figured out. As I bring alts thru DF, I've been slowly looking at which renown perks that mention items actually have a quest where you get one for free as a reward (buying remains an option, but why buy when an alt that will be coming thru can get for free)-basically you have choices on how to acquire them.

But now I come to this. Tools are a mace and 3 daggers. I have 4 toons that have done this quest-Lock, Rogue, Warrior and Mage. I should have all 4 by now, but am missing the chisel (dagger). No reason not to have all 4, but not remembering who took what, I guess its possible. But now my Druid comes through and you would think gets offered the chisel. But no, oddly enough she's offered the punch which I already have (first time I've seen one of the cosmetic renown rewards even offer a duplicate). I could understand if it was a weapon type that Druid's can't learn, but a dagger? Bug? Intended? Who knows, I'll put in a ticket and see what happens.

I don't have this quest available. I have a Monk with Engineering and Mining as main professions. My renown is :

Dragonscale Expedition: 17
Maruuk Centaur: 14
Iskaara Tuskarr: 16
Valdrakken Accord: 20
Both Wrathion & Sabellian: True Friend
Cobalt Assembly: Low

Is there a hidden requirement to unlock this quest? I have finished the main story-line and I have access to WQ and got all Dragon Riding Glyphs. I've already completed Lost Expedition Scouts and Dragon Isles Supplies.

This is unlocked at Dragonscale Expedition Renown 3.
