In order to unlock this quest you need to do the entire Ohn'ahran Plains campaign on that specific character, even if you have completed the campaign on another character previously.

You need to fulfill the following requirements to get this quest:

Have skill 25 in one profession - it can be gathering or crafting.
Complete the Ohn'a'Roll achievement on that specific character.

It does not matter if you have completed the main story on another character, the character that needs the Khadin's Wisom buff has to complete the Ohn'a'Roll achievement.

If you've done these quests once before, you can talk to Haephesta and choose the skip option in order to fast-forward these steps. You will miss out on some of the benefits of doing the quests (not sure exactly what you miss out on unfortunately) but you'll get three of the Dragon Shards straight away and can pick up the quest for the fourth without having to do the Ohn'ahran Plains campaign.

UPDATED! Confirmed for alts.

I just did this on my alt after reading through things and comments.

First off, if you do NONE of the profession quests on your alt (the ones at ruby life pools), you can SKIP all of this by following this first part here: https://www.wowhead.com/news/how-to-skip-intro-profession-quests-on-alts-unlock-dragon-shards-of-knowledge-330266

HOWEVER.. if you did a quest by accident like me and can no longer skip THIS IS FOR YOU. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THE WHOLE OHN'AHRAN PLAINS QUESTLINE.

Here is what I did.

1. No quest from Miguel Bright in Ruby Life Pools
2. Go to Forkriver Crossing in Ohn'ahran plains
3. Complete the Main story quest there "Into the Azure"
4. Fly BACK to Ruby Life Pools and Miguel Bright should have the quest for you "That's My Specialty"
5. This leads into the next quest which provides more dragon shards.

I just did this on my alt. All it took was completing the first "Into the Azure Span" quest for it to show up. I already completed the profession gear questline that deactivates the skip.

One of my guildies had Azure Span compain completed and "That's My Specialty" quest was not available
What we end up doing is:
I logged in on a toon who did not did "Into the Azure Span" quest
We used quest synchronisation feature
Accept "Into the Azure Span" quest
Completed "Into the Azure Span" quest
Turn back to Forkriver Crossing
And did "That's My Specialty" quest chain together

To make this quest appear on an alt, just complete the Into Azure Span quest from Forkriver Crossing! Easy peasy. No need to complete anything else, other than maybe having some skill in your profession (some are saying 25).

Note that if you are trying to do this fast on an alt they need to have one profession above 25 for "That's My specialty" to show up.

If you're trying to get the passive Khadin's Wisdom to find Dragon Shard of Knowledge as a rare drop from all kind of content and Miguel Bright is not offering you the quest that starts this chain i think i've found a possible solution:

After completing the entire Ohn'ahran Planes campaign i talked to Merithra , she finally gave me the quest Into the Azure (which is tecnically a prerequisite for To the Azure Span, this sent me back to Forkriver Crossing, where Miguel Bright finally gave me the quest That's My Specialty to start with these Dragon Shard of Knowledge.

For anyone like me who couldn't pickup this quest. I still had not finished Artisan's Supply: Jeweler's Specs
. Once I completed that I was then able to see the quest and pick it up.

Must be 25 in a profession which unlocks specializations to be able to do this quest.

For alts that did not do the campaign, this has worked twice for me to get this quest: Complete To the Azure Span offered by Masud the Wise in Ohn'ahran Plains-Forkriver Crossing and then return to Forkriver Crossing, Miguel should now have this quest for you.

Edit: I'm pretty sure I got this from someone on "All the Things" discord, but couldn't find the original post to give specific credit.

Requires 25 skill level in a profession for this to show up, yes even after finishing the into the azure span quest.

I present You Quest Chain Catching Up! but with 8 quests not 6. That Quest will unlock for You Khadin's Wisdom. Making Quests You will get reputation for Artisan's Consortium - Dragon Isles Branch, to get to Artisan's Consortium - Dragon Isles Branch Quartermaster see Rabul /way #2112 35.51 58.98 Rabul/

Quest chain:

1. Artisan's Courier - Start From Haephesta /way #2022 57.93 68.22 Haephesta/ You need to see Thomas Bright /way #2022 60.22 72.16
2. A Gift for Miguel - First speak with quest giver, then Fly /way #2022 68.79 64.48, and slay Fire elementals to loot 3 Fiery Spirit.
3. To Give One's Heart - Open any Crafting profession and make Miguel's Gift. Then Speak with quest giver and take gift to Miguel Bright.
4A. Professionally Equipped - Speak with Mahra Treebender /way #2022 61.43 70.14 Mahra Treebender/ ( I pick 1-4-2-7-1 ) then wait 10 sec to finish quest.
4B. That's My Specialty - Speak with quest giver ( I pick 1-4-2 ) if you cant speak with him just moveout from him and back can be buged. When You finish This Quest The Wonders of the World will up.
6. The Wonders of the World - Speak with Thomas Bright /way #2022 60.22 72.16, Then Fly to /way #2023 46.13 59.90, and press on Strange Nest then wait few sec to finish quest. YOu will get Dragon Shard of Knowledge and Ancient Scrap of Draconic Wisdom.
7. The Master of Their Craft - Speak with Khadin /way #2023 52.11 33.53 cave enter Khadin/
8. A Worthy Hunt - Slay Thousandmile walking around /way #2023 50.18 36.67 Thousandmile

After This Story line You will get Khadin's Wisdom and 3 Dragon Shard of Knowledge. Dragon Shard of Knowledge You can exchange at Khadin /way #2023 52.11 33.53 cave enter Khadin/ You will get 50 Artisan's Mettle and 1 Dragon Isles ( depending on the profession ) Knowledge and 50 rep. for Artisan's Consortium - Dragon Isles Branch.
