Using Polymorph on either Meredy or Cole completes the quest

On accepting the quest:

Meredy Huntswell says: Cole, c'mere. We're gonna flank our recruit and teach 'em how tae use Polymorph.
Private Cole says: Are you... going to turn me into a sheep?
Meredy Huntswell says: Why, Cole! I'd never do such a thing. Promise!

Meredy and Cole walk to a nearby hill and become neutral, attackable mobs.

If you choose to Polymorph Cole...

Meredy Huntswell says: Yer polymorphed foe will wander around fer a bit. Use that tae yer advantage and fight whoever's left.
Meredy Huntswell says: Go on and hit him with an attack tae break the spell.

Private Cole says: You said you weren't gonna turn me into a sheep!
Meredy Huntswell says: I didn't! Our recruit did.

Or if you Polymorph Meredy instead...

Private Cole says: Oh, I've heard of this tactic! You can keep one of your foes polymorphed while you focus on the other.
Private Cole says: Just remember that hitting your opponent will break the spell. Try knocking Meredy out of it.

Meredy Huntswell says: Very funny, recruit. I think ye got the hang of this. Let's go back.

I'm not gonna send ye off without showin' ye how tae properly use this spell. Ye wanna cast Polymorph if ye get yerself into a situation when two foes are fightin' ye at once. Cole and I will spar with ye a bit tae make sure ye know what tae do.
