This quest can bug from time to time and you will not see mark on your map, but you can complete it get the reward

Mechanic is similar to a bonus objectives. You just need to kill demons in Felsoul Hold

Head down to Felsoul Hold.

There are several cannons around 31.8, 63.7 and further down the ridge. If you kill an Abhorrent Artificer you can pick up Legion Ammunition, which gives you unlimited (right now, anyway) shots as long as you're in the cannon. From that, you can one-shot bats in the sky. 12 kills completes the world quest. Pretty easy.

I received 50 rep with Nightfallen and one Blood of Sargeras.

As of today, Legion Ammunition was still in my inventory even after I left the area. This makes me think it's a bug and the shots in the cannon should be limited, probably more like the cannons in Ironhold Harbor in Draenor (just my guess). We'll see I suppose.

I completed this quest at the same time as 'Clear the Skies' world quest and it bugged out. The bar was filled up to 100% but I couldn't get it complete or get the rewards. I ran out of the area, ran back in, and the quest instantly completed.

Easy way to get there, use the Teleport: Felsoul Hold from Shal'Aran. The mobs you need to kill are just there, inside that building where the teleport is.

Just kill Azoran in the tower at 34,73. He credits about 16% progress. He respawns really fast and can be killed over and over. 6 or 7 kills and you're done. Easy to solo him as well.

Best mobs for killing are Felsoul Inquisitors, i guess. Their deaths sightly fill your quest progress bar and the they also have a chance to drop a battle pet — Eye of Inquisition.

I had this fail at 100% complete. Went back to the portal room and ported into Felsoul Hold and it completed.

It often starts together with Clear the Skies world quest. If completed in same the time, and that takes exactly 12 bats to fill the bar, this quest (Agressive Reconnaisance) will bug saying it's failed. To fix it - reenter the area, to avoid, kill one extra mob before entering the fel cannon. Most profitable cannon seems to be the northernmost one, as bats are dropping in relatively small area and can be easily and fast looted for crafting material bags.

Even if the quest Clear the Skies is NOT active, it is still possible to get Legion Ammunition from the artificers and use the cannons to shoot down the bats for credit. This makes it quite quick.

Shoot down Sinister Shriekers as an alternative to farming demons in Felsoul Hold. Here are detailed land routes from Meredil and Felblaze Ingress to the Fel Cannons. These paths can be used for any Felsoul Hold quest.

The Fel Cannons now maneuver well and the Abhorrent Artificers drop Legion Ammunition when killed. If you're on a heavily populated server, the fel cannons may not be up for a few minutes - they seem to despawn after being used. This is a good alternative to fighting your way through mobs when you emerge from the Shal'Aran portal in Felsoul Hold.

The cannon has one spell called Fel Missile - Unlimited Range. Aim at a Sinister Shrieker, allowing for the movement of the bird and the time it takes for the missile to reach your target. Aim for the orange target disk just below the bird. Your progress bar will fill up quickly.

This pair of Fel Cannons is near the top right of Felsoul Hold. There is a fel river the forms a sort of glove. You want the wrist. On the map the glove is below 2 building icons.	31.8, 63.732.8, 64.3 Thanks to OCDCatLady for this location	From Meredil: Aim for the point where a path that starts from Suramar City runs into Felsoul Hold. The path into the Felsoul Hold is lit with many torches. The first cannon is at the end of the path. The second is downhill a short distance.	Turn around and exit by the same path.
This pair of Fel Cannons is near a fel lake that forms a kind of letter "P". You want the upright part of the "P".	25.9, 59.325.7, 61.4	From Meredil make your way to the path shown on the map that runs west along the top of Felsoul Hold. Stop when you come to a lamp post with three signs (23.4, 58.3). Across the path are 2 columns.Turn and walk uphill. You'll see a Wrathguard Fury. He marks the top of the return path -- if you don't whistle for a taxi. Bear right toward a dead tree with fel moss on it. There is a rocky narrow path that leads into Felsoul Hold. From Felblaze Ingress in Azsuna: Take the path downhill to the river and Suramar border. Head up the grassy path on the Suramar side. At the top, you have 2 choices: Turn left on to the main path and continue until you reach a lamp post with 3 signs. (Across the path are 2 columns.) Head uphill, avoiding the Wrathguard Fury and bear right to the dead tree that marks the path.OR At the top, bear right toward a tree with a massive trunk and green leaves. Keep walking toward a dead tree that marks a path into Felsoul Hold.	Lower cannon: not far downhill is a vat of fel and spikey metal. The path starts here. Upper cannon: just turn around to see the path. Nearby is a Felsoul Inquisitor.
