Demons at the Temple of Sha'naar count toward this objective. I still have to explore more to find out if there are more demons other places. I suspect Throne of Kil'jaeden will work, but it has all elite mobs, so it may be more difficult without a group. As it is, there are elites at the temple and the aggro range seems to be rather high. A group may be needed for squishier characters.
Update: So far, the best place I've found for demons is Felblight just west of Vol'mar. There are imp demons that roam in groups of three. Argosh the Destroyer is supposed to count according to the tooltip, but he despawned on me when he was close to death.

Just find packs of imps to the south of the Throne of Kil'jaeden; each one counts and will help you quickly and easily get the necessary credit.

EDIT 7/6: A recent patch allowed the zone's Felbound Wolves to also count towards quest credit.

There are easier demons to slay besides those mo fo's up at the throne. Off to the side of the fel forge where the ooze also are you'll find packs of threes of those imps. It is so close to Vol'mar (not sure where alliance camp is yet) and they respawn quickly. You can do this daily in 5 minutes. Beats that awful throne with the fel buff and huge hp on the mobs.

Up a bit by the felblight, the fel touched wolves also count as a demon, and you can collect the fangs and claws for the daily.

If you aren't able to find any live imps on your server, try the Felbound Wolf due north of Vol'mar, or southeast of Throne. They are not shown within the quest area on the map, so there are usually at least 20 alive.

There is a small area with nothing major except Corrupted Elemental Flame(195K) and Fel Ooze (78K). Imps show up every few minutes running around in groups of 3. It's a small area located at 54,44, but easy to farm and you can quickly and easily AOE the imps down. It's also close to Vol'mar so if you attract an unwanted mob or a pesky allie, you can run for cover quickly.

There is another place just to the northeast of Vol'mar at 64,38 that yields a population of Felbound Wolf (88K) which are easy to kill, in groups of 1 to 5 and count as demons. They also yield teeth of you are doing Tooth and Claw at the same time.

These daily quests dont disappear if you dont do them, but you need to do the single daily assault in tannan jungle for these quests to be offered by the troll.

Strange, when I click on the NPC to get the quest, it declares reward of 100 garrison resources (at least today, at least for me), while when I click quest details in my quest log, it says 50 resources.

Just curious they would make this so incredibly un fun? I get it, you and the other 10k people on your server can surely go after the 3 or 4 imps or spend 4-5 hours waiting for respawn in hopes of killing 1-2 per hour. I know, i am complaining but this quest line is garbage.

If you also have to do Assault on the Ruins of Kra'nak then the Sethekk Invoker mobs there have Eye of the Discordant companions, and also summon Nefarious Fiend adds, both of which count towards your total of demons slain

Felbound Wolf are great for this quest. They are easy to kill and they run in groups. A great bonus is that they also count for Tooth and Claw.

Super easy if you stumble upon Imp-Master Valessa at the Temple of Sha'naar; her imps count, and she'll quickly summon 20 over the course of a fight (if you let her).

In addition to the imps and wolves between Vol'mar and Throne, the Temple of Sha'naar is also a good place to farm for these; there's a good amount of demons there (Felguards and Eredar Chaosborn; though be warned as they have a good deal of health) and an area crowded with wolves that count as both demons for this quest and beasts for Tooth and Claw. They're all grouped up, ~~but for some reason, even though they're marked as hostile they act as neutral mobs; you can get as close to them as you want but they won't attack until you aggro them~~.

And, side-tracking here, you get progress for the Assault there (Only if you completed the first daily, though; then and only then can you get progress for other assaults). I hope this helped for people having trouble with this quest.

EDIT: As of the pre-patch, the Felbound Wolves at the Temple of Sha'naar function as hostile mobs.

Another great place for killing demons is the Ruins of Kra'Nak. The rare Varyx the Damned (about 28,33) summons demons during the fight that self-destruct after a few seconds giving you credit for killing them. Varyx is on a platform that's easy to fly to and only has 3 mobs nearby that are easily cleared before attacking Varyx. If you don't kill Varyx too fast, you could get all the demons right here. If you are killing Varyx too fast, you can end the fight (in a manner appropriate to your class) and reattack after Varyx's health resets.

If you happen to have both quests open, killing Felbound Wolves are perfect for completing the quests Demonslayer of Tanaan & Tooth and Claw, as they count for both.

If you are focusing on the Tooth and Claw daily for the Saberstalker rep, supposedly if you don't hand in the other 2 randomly assigned, you will be guaranteed the T&C quest.

Description

Look to the north, <class>. The sky is turning a sickly green. Gul'dan's summoning portals are not yet at full strength, but already the stench of demon is on the wind.

Slay them, <name>. Destroy as many beasts as you can before they find a way to Azeroth. The Temple of Sha'naar is infested, as is the Throne of Kil'jaeden, although you may find others wandering about the jungle.
