Meet up with her at the gate. Then both of you fight together as you make your way to the other gate to speak with D'Kaan. Three Alliance Soldiers will fight with you to kill a mini boss that in a round pen. After he defeated go through the opening and stay to the left as you make your way to the hill. A mage will follow to seal off the caves as you move up.Stay to the left and work your way though the adds. You soon will see the dot on the mini map for Vindicator Yrel. You will meet up with her then you will go up the hill to do battle with Durn the Hungerer. Once defeated you will move again to another gate. Final Stage: You will click on Yrel again to do battle with Garrosh.

At last. We -all- can finally get revenge against this sick hearted bastard. He was seen as a hero after the war in Northrend but seen as a monster to the Alliance before the Horde realized. He decimated Theramore using the focusing iris, wiping out every last man, woman, and child. He then brought war to the shores of Pandaria just so he could "paint it red" and gain power for his bloodthirst of war. He unleashed the Sha, another remnant of the Old Gods upon the vale, almost causing the entire land to slowly become corrupted by the pride he unleashed.
The Horde realized once Vol'jin came back and returned. Together, Horde and Alliance stormed the gates of Orgrimmar and took many familiar faces we had to kill except for -him-. The Shado-pan decided a trial would be better, but it wasn't. He escaped and his dreams while incarcerated came to past.
Now we have to deal with the likes of Grommash Hellscream and Blackhand together with the technology we have in Azeroth today. After wiping out many of the Orcs and natives alike, you're cornered. There's no where to run now bastard. On my Horde warrior, I promise you right now, her swords will taste your blood and on my Alliance Shaman, the element of fire and earth will scorch and ruin your barbaric skin. Its -time- to end this once and for all.

As of 11/15/14, the deed has been done. Garrosh Hellscream is dead.

Is this a joke? They seriously killed off last expac's main raid boss in a QUEST? I mean, he could have at least had his own dungeon. What's next, Sargeras showing up in place of Hogger and dying to a bunch of lvl 7 noobs?(##RESPBREAK##)524##DELIM##thaia##DELIM##added a "spoiler" ;)

I ran into an issue today where I made it up to the gate and Yrel wasn't there. Thus I couldn't get stage 4 to actually complete. However, I suggest running out and running back in at the very least Yrel should spawn up near Garrosh.

Scenario is buggy, got to the gate where Garrosh is and it wasn't open. On the right you can mount up and sneak through but Yrel wasn't there. I went back and killed everything and still nothing, noticed in my quest log it said to kill Garrosh (not talk to Yrel). Ended up re-logging and Yrel showed up inside the gate in front of Garrosh. I still couldn't talk to her so I just decided to take out Garrosh. Yrel helped, at 50% you get a nice cut scene and after that I got credit.

Note to Feral druids, the Packmaster will take you out of cat form everytime he picks you up, so make sure your minions are close by.

When I arrived at the gates, they were closed. But at the right side of the gates, there is a small gap you can jump through. Do that. When inside, just run towards Garrosh, and the concluding phase of the scenario will begin automatically.

I kept getting instance not found. Reloaded a couple of times and that did not work. Logged out and came back I could at least open the gates but kept bouncing back to Yrel everytime I advanced. So I tried a different tack. I went to the other gate and opened it and worked my way around to the original gate within the compound. I got to the point where it bounced me back out to Yrel and my army was there with a tank. Talked to Yrel and moved forward. Was finally able to complet the quest after all the BS.

After the battle is over, you'll be at the bottom of the hill with all the major NPCs. If you go up the hill, past Thrall, you'll see something interesting.

For some reason it shows that the Helmet will get +10 to Epic, but at least for mine that is incorrect, it got +20.

Might it be Dwarfen Bunker Lvl 2 or really a mistake, but mine got upgraded to

Thrall - You must pay for your crimes, Garrosh.

The battle begins...

Garrosh - All I did, I did for the Horde!
Thrall - You failed the horde.

Garrosh throws his axe at Thrall, who counters, the axe spins into the ground blade first...

Garrosh - You made me warchief, (thunderous blows to Thrall, his hammer flies from his grasp, landing on the ground out of reach) you left me to pick up the pieces, YOU failed ME!

Garrosh, bare fisted, beats down Thrall, ending with a body slam...

Garrosh - You never had the strength of a real warchief...
Thrall - I never relied on strength alone, Garrosh, my power is all around you.

Thralls eyes burn with vengeance, as he calls upon the power of the elements, Garrosh is lifted up and slammed heavily into the earth by the forces of nature, as a red laced earthen fist grasps Garrosh from the ground, gripping him tightly...

Garrosh - You made me what I am...
Thrall - No, you chose your own destiny.

A powerful lightning strike thunders down from the sky, striking Garrosh, the cut scene ends with an image of the axe, and Garrosh's limp hand, presumably dead, at the right of the scene...

god it felt good to see Garrosh finally feel the full wrath of Thralls superior shaman abilities. For a moment in the cinematic I was worried he wasnt going to use them. *Having read War Crimes its especially nice to see, as Garrosh was given so many chances to repent, was hoping Anduin could get through to him but this was unfortunately the only way*.

Don't queue for a PvE event then deny queue when you get to the final stage. It says you aren't in the instance group and kick you to the nearest graveyard every time you try to reenter. If it happens to you reload and you have to start from stage one again....

At the end of this quest, all the major players of this expansion are gathered, and they all have something to say....

The Archmage tells me that Garrosh set all of these events in motion. He was a criminal from your world, yes? I have never seen the orcish idea of "justice" before.

I wish I could say it's over, but this war is only beginning. Grommash's Iron Horde continues to grow stronger. My people will never be safe so long as his foundries continue churning out their terrible weapons. We draenei were not ready for this fight, but we must be prepared to finish it.

There are shadows before us - but only because the light is at our back.

Vindicator Yrel says that we must work with both the Alliance and the Horde from your world.

But, if your world created monsters like Garrosh - why should we trust you?

Garrosh came out of nowhere, and manipulated the clans as you would play a drum. It is good that he is finished.

But, the damage is already done. It's like I don't recognize my own people anymore. Grommash Hellscream has turned family and friends alike against one another, and it has to stop. We must dismantle his war machine: First by taking out his ogre allies, then by demolishing the Blackrock Foundry.

After that, we will bring Hellscream himself to justice. Just as we've seen today.

We Frostwolves have always walked alone, with only our wolves at our side. But, our clan is a part of this world, and it's clear that we have a role to play in protecting it.

This "Garrosh" was a dangerous one. Still, he showed us something valuable. I see now that, united, the orcs can be great. It is more important than ever to have a righteous voice to guide them.

The Frostwolves must be that voice.

We've closed this chapter. But Garrosh only set these events in motion... We'll have to close all the loops if we want to keep Azeroth safe. That means finding and neutralizing Gul'dan.

<Khadgar breathes a heavy sigh.>

Still, a little celebration may be in order before we get back to business. I've got a bottle of aged Dalaran red saved up for just such an occasion, if you'd care to meet me in my tower later.

The archmage is gearing up for another campaign. All he can talk about is finding Gul'dan.

But, I worry... Gul'dan has already tried to kill Khadgar once. The Archmage is going to need all the help he can get.

<Cordana looks at you, pointedly.>

My husband takes all the responsibility of the world on his shoulders, as if it's his burden alone. He needs to learn that we all have a role to play.

Friend, this whole world remains in turmoil. The elements cry out. They are being tortured in the depths of the Blackrock foundry, and Gul'dan is still at large.

So much remains to be done... and the stronghold you've built is the key. Never hesitate to call on me for aid. This is my fight, too.

Thrall challenges Garrosh to Agni Kai, as the Avatar!

His firebending knocks away to non bender.
Followed up with airbending and raging earthbending.
Fatally destroying the misguided fellow orc with lightningbending.
Thank god he didn't have to lavabend or bloodbend his victory.
Thus everything remained at peace, until the....

Anyone highly cheesed off by this quest?
At first it seems like we finally get to end Garrosh. Like we should've done at the SoO.
But no, we just get stun locked.
And then Green Jesus shows up. And saves us.
Just to add insult to injury.
And then the insufferable Mary-Sue kills Garrosh in a duel.
For those keeping count, that's two killing blows that Thrall has had on expansion final bosses.

Finished this quest today...
After 3rd step, when i needed to meet up with Yardel (or what her name is), NPC run away from me and i got lost...

After few killed mobs, i spotted blue circle on map, headed there, and find garosh just sitting... Attacked him and after short fight, quest was over...

To much hassle, no one showed up, just a handful of soldiers. Then obstacles everywhere(as usual) get to where they're supposed to be and just several of the enemy. The helm wasn't worth it to me, I abandoned the quest.

This is another badly designed scenario. Lazy Blizzard.

Meet Yrel at 74.61, 69.62. From then on you have to go to certain places and fight certain mobs, and good luck with that, because it is easy to get lost. It is confusing, there are no clear paths to follow, and if you stray a little bit off the path that Blizzard has decided is the right one, you will have the scenario reset and you will find yourself surrounded by 1000 mobs, with no other support, and no chance of completing anything.

If you see just how many other players have had similar experiences - it is a half baked not well thought out quest. All you need is a "follow me" NPC so that you do not get lost.

And of course, DO NOT reset the scenario when the player does get lost.

Bad, bad Blizzard.

Stage 4: Meet Yrel at 75.18, 77.51

At stage 4 and in the final battle at the throne Yrel will tell you the fight will start at your command. Yrel doesn't offer a chat bubble that says you are ready. So charge the boss alone and Yrel follows. Don't worry about Garrosh's troups lined up on either side of his throne. My bodyguard died while I was looking up Yrel's location for Stage 4 but it didn't matter. (Got a message in red saying, You can't log out.)

I've done this a few times, learned something new on my hunter today. If you let your pet hit Garrosh Hellscream first, he'll despawn and you'll have to wait a minute or so 'til he respawns.

Where Garrosh died - in the old Outland it is the location of where you first meet him, in the village there.

Also, inb4 an undead Garrosh comes along in a future expansion where he says "Nagrand was just a setback."

I actually thought for once Blizzard closed off a storyline well with the cinematic. It addressed both sides and how Garrosh saw himself as the victim. There are usually two sides to everything and Thrall is hardly blameless.

Found a workaround for those that are stuck on this quest chain. Disable add-ons, unequip your weapon and hit him til the scenario progresses. Finally finished about scratching my head for over an hr. Thank blizzard for making us max lvls really WORK for it.

If you have the black screen, try disabling the addons that skip the scenario and watch it.
I had to use heartstone, abandon the quest and complete the scenario again and watch the cinematic. All good after :)

So I completed And Justice for Thrall yet I never completed earlier quests like Operation: Just Arrowhead and everyone is hanging out under the stone bridge and won't let me turn in my quest to Rangari D'kaan. Not sure if this just means that no further questing can be done or if there is some way to get everyone to return to their usual locations...

Seems my NPC companions killed Durn The Hungerer and he won't respawn so I didn't get credit for the kill. Now I can't go any further. Anyone encounter this issue?

Every time I take an alt through WoD I make a beeline for this quest. I don't think it's wrong that Thrall gets the killing blow, and I'm not all that bothered by the narrative and dialogue of the scene being more than a little camp - I'm only concerned with Garrosh being dead.

The antithesis of Grom's character journey and a character that should have been the saviour of the Horde heralding in a glorious return to true strength and true honour finally put in the dirt that he's no better than; he couldn't get his filthy mitts off Gorehowl fast enough.

If there was one thing I wish I could do in the WoD expansion it would be kill him again. And now that Shadowlands is here...

...I wanna kill him again.
