Witch Lord Morkurk is stunnable while casting the spell that "requires" you to enter a magical shield, but it seems your summoned reinforcements will get stuck where the shield was if you do so. Only having Morkurk cast the spell to completion freed them back up.

The shield that is spoken of didn't appear for me the first few attempts. You need to stand inside a dome shield after they warn you. Once it started appearing for me, the quest was much easier.

Nice rewards for this quest, including a new follower.

For those of you that are having as much trouble finding this witch as I did... follow the road up to the rock gate where all the ogre are and then its barricaded by a blue flame looking wall... take the portal on the right hand side and it... duh ! takes you to the other side of the wall... Then just follow the road from there!
