Another "Ring of Blood" type questline for Pandaria with those old familiar faces, Gurgthock and Wodin the Troll-Servant. They are located in the Kun-Lai Summit, down the steps from the Temple of the White Tiger.

In case you were confused:

This is an actual scenario. You must open the scenario queue window and select it to enter. It is not a place in Kun-Lai Summit. Enter the area with Taniss and whoever will not help you.

It took me like 20 minutes to figure this out. With help from an equally confused Game Master. Learn from our inability to read correctly.

Thank GOD it is a scenario. Being GM of a capped guild has had me do the old ones literally over over a hundred times. Now ppl can queue and do it themselves!

Can someone please explain why they felt like they didn't need to include a DK tanking weapon for this? Sigh...

Ok. To get one of these weapons, you have to click on the "i key". The dungeonbrowser will open. Select Scenarios and chose the "specific scenario" Tab and click on "The Arena of Annihilation". A group will be created in seconds (at least now :) ). The quest giver is located in the instance (scenario).

You have to kill 5 opponents with your 3 man group. They were not hard, but if you have 2 bad players, it can be very tough. Good, that i am a hunter, so my turtle could easily tank the Mobs while i was solo dpsing the bosses. ^^ Other classes could get into trouble if your teammates are crap. Then you have to ask your guild members for support because this weapon is quite essential for a good start into raiding/dungeons. Well, no need to explain why ilvl 450 weapons are better than ilvl 410...

Helps a lot til you find a better replacement in heroics.

Not sure if it's a bug or just a fluke, but I had to log out then back in upon dinging 90 to see this in the scenario list.

It is worth mentioning that, at least as far as quest rewards are concerned, the Level 86 BoA versions are almost exactly similar. Compare for example the Druid agility quest reward Scar-Shell's Scintillating Staff with the BoA Malik's Stalwart Spear. The latter is very easy to solo, stealthers can even do it at 86. You should probably still do Scenarios, but if you can't get that one to pop...

Funny, you can only get this quest at lvl 90.
And you will get 236000 xp on completion. Like I then need xp.

After patch 6.0 you need to speak to Lorewalker Fu in the "Seat of Knowledge" to enter Arena of Annihilation

Lorewalker Fu is located above the Mogu'shan Palace in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms

you have to talk to the NPC Zidormi out front and have her reverse time to find Loremaster Fu. Hope this helps someone.

If you're trying to play through the Pandaria content as you level, as far as I can tell you're out of luck doing any scenarios. Loremaster Fu will only talk to you starting level 50 and above...which is exactly the level Chromie Time becomes inaccessible. So you're guaranteed to be either done with the storyline, or be lolmode one-shot gray-killing your way through the storyline, by the time you can actually do the scenarios that were meant to be done along the way.

I understand Blizzard shifting scenario access from the UI to individual NPCs since that's a technical design choice. But I do not understand why they have to be so completely schizophrenic about when you're allowed to just play through past content as intended. Why these arbitrary level gates and cutoffs...

Soloed it all as a 29 balance druid in Pandaria Remix The vindication power helped a LOT. If you don't have other heals I'd recommend some leech gear if you don't find partners to group with.
When you queue in for the quest, it'll put you in alone, find 1-2 others since it's all 3man challenges.
Had to heal through a lot of the fire elemental's initial damage, just survive until fire wall and it should be gg.

Soloed it on a 68 Hunter during remix took a lot of tries.

Not at all difficult as a level 57 fury warrior in Pandaria Remix. Having a good amount of Leech (mine was 27%) really helped, my health didn't drop below 80% in any of the five fights.

Ah, I can still remember running fights out of a muddy hole in the ground back in Nagrand. We've come a long way, eh, Wodin?

I tell you, there's nothing more these Tiger monks like than a good scrap. So much so that they've paid good coin for me to set up shop here and help draw the strongest fighters from all around!

So how about it? You and a couple friends up for a few rounds in the Arena of Annihilation...? Big money, big prizes!
