It's one of those quests where you just HAVE TO have view distance set to at least fair. If you don't, then similarly to that daily in northern Uldum, you won't see your quest objectives - which are far away enough to not register with "poor" distance view.

(Yes, I know it says as much in the quest text now, but it won't on retail, while this comment will remain)

This quest is easiest done With your UI turned off that way you can see everything.

Alt-Z is the default command to turn off your UI.

I turned my UI off but I dont know if it was needed.
You dont get an action in my action bar.
You need to right click after you target to shoot the mobs
Very easy quest.

Start by moving up the path, and use the rifle stuck on the tripod.

Rightclick to shoot the guards! They should have an mark above them so they're easier to spot. (they also might be covered by some leaves hanging from tress)

Next, shoot the three barrels by the first three huts counting from the left.

Then keep shooting monkey and some horde guard, click their feet!

Using "V" to display enemy health bars may help you find some enemies. That said, don't rely exclusively on this technique; if an enemy is far enough away, its health bar won't show up.

At least, after a while, it does show very small yellow arrows pointing at the enemies you want to shoot.

The quest takes place at 28,54, "Scenic Overlook". I know this because I just did this quest and spotted a Golden Lotus as I finished the quest. So I quickly switched to my herbalist, hunted down the location based on the crude hand-drawn map displayed in the scene transition, and then figured out where Amber was standing. From there I found my lotus to harvest. A nice 200g bonus for the quest!

I am glad I got the ten day trial because so far there have been more of these irritating arcade game quests than regular "in character" quests. I bought wow to play a role playing game not a damn arcade game. I could have bought a nintendo system if I wanted to play video games where u shoot crap.

Turn off your UI by holding down Alt + Z. Then you can see the Hozen down in the bottom that are covered up with chat and other bars. This information was given by Skorkin earlier in this thread but, it is kind of far down in all the comments and took me awhile to find it so I thought reposting it might be helpful.

This might seem like common sense, but you have to keep him alive. I kept failing and couldnt figure out why, then buy the time I realized that he kept dieing, he died again. When you you get to the last spot, worry about the Orcs last and keep killing the Hozen. You will get a chance to snip the Orcs.

just to expand on prior comments. Alt-Z needs to go on and off, so you know what is going on and what to do. Once he heads up the hill, turn UI back on so she tells you to shoot the barrels he just placed. First time, I thought I was done and exited 'vehicle' without knowing.
you can pretty much leave UI on after he gets up the hill, maybe when he runs down the other side turn it back off, but then back on. REALLY FUN QUEST!

This task was difficult to complete with my Magic Trackpad. After plugging in a mouse, I was able to simply right-click on everything a couple times and the object was targeted and killed. Spam right click and profit!

One of the more enjoyable quests in this line. Run up the hill, get your cheek-weld, and simply click on the bad guys...If you are slow on the trigger, the evil-doers will be identified with yellow triangles over their head. Just click on them.

turn off UI and the default "interact" key is F1... I turned off UI and when the crosshair showed up I spammed the hell out of the F1 key till every target was dead... works well

It helps to put a raid marker on Sully to see him and where he is. (Something that stands out against the green. I used orange)

If you press "V" for health bars over bad guys, the ones nearest you pop out clearly and you can kill them by simply clicking the health bar over their head, thus you only have to worry about the far away ones.

I keep getting horrible glitches with this quest. After killing one group, Sully doesn't move on, 400 Hozen ambush us and he dies instantly.
Very frustrating!

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this - when Sully gets to the orcs section - he makes a comment about shooting them in the head. When you target the orcs though, it's not their head the target circle appears at - it's their groin. The unkindest shot of all? - maybe Amber has her own personal issues

If you shoot the barrels while Sully is too close, he'll yell "OW! HEY!" Do it 3 times, and you'll kill Sully and the quest ends in failure. :D

Unfortunately, retrying it can cause the quest to bug out. You may need to abandon it, relog, and then you can try again.

I've done this quest many times now, and for the first time today I really struggled with the barrels part. Namely, the third barrel - the one for Gizmo and Socks. For some reason it was really hard to find, even after I watched him place it. For any who struggled, like me, it's right by the ladders/stairs under the building he places it at. I aimed practically at the intersection where the ladders meet the ground and the background, and the aiming target kept appearing and disappearing. Using that I could shoot and progress once the barrel was gone.
Moving the mouse even a little bit around the sweet spot I found didn't find the actual barrel, so I've no idea what's up with that - I couldn't even see the damn thing.

Don't do like me and start shooting the second the mobs appear, if you shoot them too fast either Sully will not continue to the next part or that he continues but the next couple of mobs won't spawn.

I started this quest over 5 times when I was at the last part, with the orcs, and then I had to abandon the quest and start it again.

I kept getting booted to the login screen with the disconnect message of "WOW51900319"
Abandoned quest and picked it right back up.
I didn't have any other glitches after that.

If you're having problems locating the third barrel like I was, try turning off environmental detail and ground clutter all the way down. There was a great deal of foliage cover the barrel, and the hit box was extremely small.

I am bugged right now, made the quest once, failed it and retried, and now Sully wont move after I kill the hozen the first time. Tried retaking it, relogging and dissabling addons, but nothing works.

If you accidentally leave vehicle during this quest or otherwise disconnect, it will break with Sully falling through the floor instead of walking after clearing the first screen. Abandoning and relogging normally does nothing, but this is fixable!

After much trial and error, i've found that clearing the first screen, logging out mid-quest, logging back in, abandoning the quest, and re-accepting fixes it.

Definitely turn off Ur UI for this one (Alt-Z). There are mobs that may be hidden by Ur UI.

I waited until the little yellow arrows appeared above the enemies to shoot them.

Second area, once he places the barrels, shoot the barrels to advance.

Third (or fourth wave), they will rush U, so shoot them as they come...closest first, and U should have no problems.

Last wave, some of the mobs take several shots, but they are not rushing U, so U should be fine.

To solve the issue with the camera scrolling down too low:
1. Log out mid scenario, it will place you in the area where the scenario is taking place (up north west).
2. Abandon the quest, it will now reset the area and the camera.
3. Restart the quest and try again.

i started the quest, got up to the scope and the game said You must be standing. Exited and there I was standing. Make sure you don't start the quest after you've been away a bit and not standing up. nit picking.

Remix Kul Tiran wasn't able to complete this quest. The second explosive barrel is not targetable after exiting vehicle and abandoning quest multiple times. Was able to complete this on two other remix characters already though.

I've done this quest so many times, but I just found out that if you target Sully and snipe him it completes the quest.

It was purely by accident, of course, but I couldn't stop laughing.
