If you did the quest before the cataclysm changes to scare her friends you won't be able to do this quest

This is a blatant reference to star wars when luke gets suddenly knocked out by a yeti and wakes up hanging upside down with his legs stuck in ice. Then he kills the yeti.

Edit: Apparently its not the same yeti, the one he kills is the other yeti's mate

For the quest The Perfect Horns, don't waste your time specifically looking for Icewhomp. Instead, when you complete the quest Echo Three, you'll be teleported directly to him, and in an Empire Strikes Back reference, you'll find yourself hanging upside down from ice from the roof of the cave.

At least as of 4.2, there are ~62 quests to do here as horde (well, going back after previously doing 'most' of the quests here -- was not loremaster though

When I did this quest, I had a weird bug where Icewhomp's life would heal when I healed myself. After you let the NPC reset, it went back to dying like a normal giant fuzzy thing.

Description

I can't make a yeti without horns!

I've been looking for what seems like forever for the perfect set of horns... and no horn I find is good enough! But just the other day I saw the biggest yeti in Winterspring.

I named him Icewhomp. His horns are the ones I've been looking for! He lurks all the way in the back of the cave along the eastern ridge of Ice Thistle Hills.

Bring me his horns... but be sure to check on Echo Three along the way!
