For any old hands who might get confused as I did, this is a new mine.Its entry is to the west of the path to the fortress.

Note that the current WoWHead link to part 4 is partially incorrect. When you go into the mine, you will pickup an additional (3) quests.

And That's Why They Call Them Peons...

The mine is very large and easy to get lost in. There is an alliance side and a horde side that offer similar quests. The 3 horde-side quests all take place within throwing distance of the 3 quest NPCs.

The cave you want is directly below the fortress, and it is not marked on the map as a cave. Don't go to the cave marked on the map. The one you want has a bunch of Horde banners hanging outside and inside it.

Make sure you're in the Deep Reaches, and not Windshear Mine. If there are orc peons walking around carrying mined minerals talking about how it's still better than their last job, you're in the wrong place.

I seriously don't suggest falling off the mine cart rails. You'll end up on the wrong side and it's difficult to get back to where you are. Going through the front of the wrong side of the cave to get out just ends you up at the graveyard! (Personal Exp. lol!)

There are two paths that lead up to the fortress - the entrance to the mine is between them.

Look down from flightmaster and you'll see it.

Description

I've been waiting on parts for these guns for days! I sent one of my best blastgineers and two dozen miners into the Deep Reaches five days ago for the parts. After not hearing from anybody for three days I began to get a little worried. The Overlord sent two of his best orcs in to see what was going on. We've received no reports since then...

Head into the Deep Reaches, directly below this fortress, and find out what's going on! I need parts!
