This is the breadcrum quest leading from Ashenvale to start your journey off in Stonetalon (An amazing zone by the way).

The caravan that automatically leads you there is just west of the questbringer. Don't jump in yet if you're not done with Ashenvale, there is no flight path where you land and it's quite a run back.

The Reward from this quest is an "aura tabard". After completion whenever you enter Stonetalon Mountains your Character will flash red and will be equipped with a tabard. It dissapears upon leaving the Zone.

I had hoped that it would be a universal thing.

This quest, while obtained in Ashenvale, actually counts for your Stonetalon Mountain Quests and not the Ashenvale Quests.

When they say "it's going to be a bumpy ride", they weren't kidding. The camera jerks on the kodo alone made me queasy, so go make a sandwich or something instead of waiting to get to your destination.

If you arrive at your destination and no NPCs are there, just relog. They should appear and you can turn in the quest.

My Warlock Lvl 28 Demon... was what I used. I followed the video which was the best help, though I tried to jump on the kodo-wagon only to fall through to the ground. went on to the next camp, enroute killed a big bear which got another turn-in as completed, got to my destination clicked the yellow "?" and got XP with " Two Sheverons", on to the next Quest.

Hurray for pop-culture references and all but I really have a hard time imagining Night Elves licking pigs... I mean, the rest of the Alliance yeah sure yay for bacon but Night Elves are nature lovers and... well... ahgahd where's the brain bleach?11?

I think this quest bugged for me. I did the quest (went to stonetalon with the wagon) but the quest didn't get completed. I talked to the saurboz and suddenly i got the Krom'gar grunt spell, but not the XP reward. The quest is still in my quest log as uncompleted, i can't use the wagon again and i've got half of the reward. I was also able to take the Barrier to entry quest.

(I tried reloadui and relogging but the quest is still in my quest log. Abandoning the quest makes it available again but still can't use the wagon again.)

Beware the subtext on this quest.

In case you are rushing, or are on your nth play-through with yet another alt, the subtext shortcut fails to mention that you should be riding the wagon down into Stonetalon. While it's possible to simply ride down on your mount, from the comments stating they haven't been awarded proper quest completion, I imagine turning the quest in not using the wagon has a chance to bug out the quest.

Take the Krom'gar Wagon to the Fold in Stonetalon Mountains.

Description

You're in Hellscream's army now, <name>, and in Hellscream's army we kick butt and take names. Gone are the days of our people starving in the streets of Orgrimmar as we sign treaties with elves. We take what we need now. Kalimdor belongs to the Horde!

The Alliance attempts to stop our expansion every chance they get. Unsatisfied with owning most of the Eastern Kingdoms, those pig-lickers want it all!

Overlord Krom'gar has called for more troops in Stonetalon. Get on the caravan west of here and go!
