Help! I finally got transformed again but can't find the "site of the Kvaldir General's death. I think I saw it during the bombing run, but now nothing. Its like I am still "out of phase". Any help would be appreciated.

When you enter the vision, Lady Naz'jar speaks:

Lady Naz'jar says: The Kvaldir have been purged from the city. Now we can begin our preparations.
Lady Naz'jar says: Battlemaiden, I have a task that requires your attention.

After you come back from the vision

Wavespeaker Valoren says: Thank the waves, you're back! The others have already retreated, we need to get out of here!

I accidently turned in this quest without completing the whole quest chain. I still have the quest "Setting An Example" unsolved. I don't have the quest item "The Blade of the Naz'jar Battlemaiden" anymore.
Is there a way to get back to that vision to complete the quest?

Had same issues.

Try going to 29,78 to find Lady Naz'jar and return to Naga form then follow the Quest "By Her Lady's Word".

You should complete the following while waiting for the Visions of the past quest to finally complete:

Stolen Property
Setting an example
No trespass forgiven
Chosen Burden

Okay, I have found lady Naz'jar, and upon entering my naga vision (and having completed the previous two quests to get the sword), she disappears. I have searched all around the area, leaving the body, entering the form again, and logging out to try and get another quest when I enter. Is anybody else having this problem, or has a solution to correct it?

I've been having a slightly different problem than others here in that after I turned in the scouting quest to Admiral Dvorek I am unable to locate Wavespeaker Valoren to give me this quest so that I may continue questing in Vashj'ir... I suspect it's a phasing issue but I've tried switching sub zones and even hearthing back to SW and taking the portal back but to no avail. I've already completed the first Visions quest and I am beginning to be frustrated seeing as not a week earlier I was able to complete this quest on my rogue... If anyone else is having this problem or discovered a hot fix please let me know!

Some helpful coordinates:

Battlemaiden Attuning:

1st level: 40.5.75.5
2nd level 29.0.78.7

You will need to attune at both places to turn into the battlemaiden at first. When you die you will be returned to the 2nd level location. Then you will only need to attune at the 2nd level location until you get to the quest Visions of the Past: Rise From the Deep. You will need to attune at 33.1.77.9 for this quest.

Alliance site: 1st level: 33.0.69.4

Horde site: 1st level: 39.7.55.5

One note... Make sure you use the se horse rigth next to the quest turn in point.. don't go swimming around like I did. If you do - she's no the top at the turn in coords above.. then jump on horse.

I am assuming that most of you post on here to be helpful to people having problem with various things in game. Posting coordinates is not helpful. The majority of wow users to not run this add on and a physical description only takes 5 seconds and a little bit of thought. A few people will be helped by your info but the vast majority of people seeking help find your info useless.

then it is extremely likely that you are at a 'spark', but the wrong one.

This is a quick step thru of the quests, as i did them, which may not be the best way, but I hoped to have enough info, in each step to get you through, even if starting in the middle of the steps somewhere.

======NOTE for the next 9 steps, if you are interupted, leave area, dismount from vehicle naga, return to the location in step 1 and use the "Blade" Quest Item, then continue at what ever step you are currently on. ======

1. Goto approx 40.5 , 75.5 - youll see the spark on the sea floor in a circular ruins. This is on the East side of the temple mid way down the length of the large Temple/Building Complex, on the SOUTH end of the field of "short" ruins ON THE SEA FLOOR :-)
2. Click the blade in your bags, you get a quest line from that point, from 'Fathom-Stalker Azjentus' - Kill the 10 Kvaldir required
3. Then continue on to quest 'The Revered Lady' (Straight North)
4. Complete with Lady Naz'jar (@ approx 39.4 , 59.0) and aquire new quest 'To the Fathom-Lord's Call'
-- Note: at this point you get a message " Further attuning yourself with the Battlemaiden, you have gained a new ability! "
Check you vehicle action bar
5. GO UP Vertically till you are at the top of the building complex, Kill the 16 Kvaldir required (other locations may be available)
6. Upon quest completion go to 'Fathom-Lord Zin'jatar' one level up from the sea floor (@ approx 36.4 , 78.6) turn in quest and then look around nearby for the new quest from 'Sira'kess Tide Priestess' called 'Built to Last'
7. Stay on that same level (one level up from sea floor) and click the blueish bird bath quest item-thingers x6 and return to 'Sira'kess Tide Priestess' at same location (@ approx 37.2 , 77.5) Turn in quest.
8. Go back to nearby 'Fathom-Lord Zin'jatar' for next quest 'Not Soon Forgotten', GO STRAIGHT WEST on the same level (on up from the sea floor) and find 'Varkul the Unrelenting' at the opposite side of the complex (@ approx 28.5 , 78.5)
-- Note: some may recognize this as the place that they where getting the Further Attunement error
9. Upon killing Varkul, you get a "soft turn in" of quest in your log, then the attunement quest auto completes and ports you back to the location where you started all this (@ approx 40.5 , 75.5) on the sea floor. Turn in quest with Wavespeaker Valoren.
-- Note: Remember the location of 'Varkul the Unrelenting' (@ approx 28.5 , 78.5) as you return there in step 11

10. Do the "non-naga" quests until you get a quest to again "continue the story of the battlemaiden"
11. Return to the spot that you killed 'Varkul the Unrelenting' (@ approx 28.5 , 78.5) and click on the blade newly put into you bag completing the quest.
12. Obtain the new quest from Lady Naz'jar 'By Her Lady's Word' , Talk to the 3 naga on the way east, When quest completed go to the ledge (@ approx 46.2 , 79.5) further to the east and turn in quest with 'Fathom-Stalker Azjentus'
13. Aquire 'No Trespass Forgiven' and 'Stolen Property', continue east and turning to the south, as you go grab the quest 'Setting An Example' from Executioner Verathress (@ approx 57.2 , 85.2)
14. Aggro the Kvaldir High-Shaman from the building Very near by and simply run back to Executioner Verathress.
15. Continue killing the 20 Kvaldir as you head south from here, find the cup looking item with the quest completion '?' on top of it. complete and obtain 'Chosen Burden'
16. Return to the ledge (@ approx 46.2 , 79.5) and turn in 'No Trespass Forgiven' and 'Chosen Burden', obtain quest The Culmination of Our Efforts from Lady Naz'jar who is now on the ledge.
17. Quest 'Visions of the Past: The Slaughter of Biel'aran Ridge' Auto-completes and ports you back to the west side of the main complex (@ approx 29.0 , 78.5) Look around and turn in quest with Wavespeaker Valoren.
18. Take the offered seahorse back to the Tranquil Wash, and turn in quest with Captain Taylor.

19. Obtain the new quest line for the "concluding story" in the Tranquil Wash
20. Goto the top level of the temple and from the north side enter the large building in the center, and goto the top level inside the building to the spark (@ approx 33.1 , 77.9) and click on the blade newly put into you bag completing the quest.
21. Obtain the new quest from Lady Sira'kess 'Devout Assembly', upon leaving the building to the north also get the quest 'Her Lady's Hand' from Lady Naz'jar just outside the building
22. Kill enemies nearby on the top level to complete 'Her Lady's Hand' and look for the purple-ish "bubbles" for the Priestesses, simply talk to six of them,
23. Then head to the very North end and down the long stairs one level of the Temple and speak with Fathom-Caller Azrajar (@ approx 33.1 , 61.0) (top level in the area, though this is on the mid-level) to complete 'Devout Assembly'
24. Head back up and south and turn in 'Her Lady's Hand' to Lady Naz'jar (@ approx 33.1 , 75.9) and then head inside and turn in 'Devout Assembly' with Lady Sira'kess (@ approx 33.1 , 77.9)
25. Obtain 'At All Costs' from Lady Sira'kess and kill 20 enemies in that same area. Turnin with Lady Sira'kess and Obtain 'Final Judgement' and head out of the building turning right to the East.
26. Find Lady Naz'jar and kill enemies near by, staying with Lady Naz'jar until you see and then attack Hagrim Hopebreaker.
27. Turn in the quest with Lady Naz'jar (@ approx 42.5 , 78.6) You will be ported back into the Central Top building, return to the Tranquil Wash to turn in quest.

(unsure horde faction location, can someone post on that?)

I read all your comments. Many maybe helpfull to other but wasn't to me.

I done all quests, if you not done you will not get "?" mark on mini-map as me.

I had ? on mini map but not NPC with mark (Wavespeaker Valoren)
tryed many many of your comments but none work for me.
So I accidentaly found my solution.
Gone in "dry" room in naga form (some 29,74 1st floor where human are :-) ) and in there I got out of naga form (right click on icon of Battlemaiden)

Then I was teleported next to quest giver and there was NPC with ? mark Wavespeaker Valoren.
My answer if you do not see ? and you complete quest go somewhere far from Lady Naga and lose naga form.

Hope some1 will find my solution helpfull.

I cant get her to give me a quest...she says......to begin our preparations, and the she has a task the requires my attention...but then wont give me the quest...

"Vision is at 28.89, 78.64. Second level up, in front of the center tunnel/hallway."

Walkthrough:

Beginning:
28.9, 78.6
at the Ruins Of Vashj' ir

The vision is located on the second level of the structure, on the western side. It is in front of the tunnel in the middle of the level, and has faint images of naga. Swimming above towards the ceiling to get there would be recommended to avoid major aggro. Use the quest item, Dagger of the Naz'jar Battlemaiden, to enter the vision.

Once inside, speak with Lady Naz'jar. She will give you the next quest, By Her Lady's Word.

Simply speak with Fathom Lord Zin'jatar (34.4, 78.7), Overseer Idra 'kess (36.9, 79.8) and Lady Sira 'kess. (39.2, 78.0)

Once you have spoken with all three, cross the large trench to the other side where you will turn in the quest to Fathom-Stalker Azjentus at 46.2, 79.6. He will give you another quest, known as "No Tresspass Forgiven". He wants you to kill 20 Kvaldir. (Kvaldir Limbrippers and Kvaldir SandTerrors count.) These humanoids are located in the area ahead of him. Use the attacks provided on your bars to fight. When finished return to Fathom-Stalker Azjentus back at the edge of the ledge to turn in the quest.

Towards the left, there will be another naga with a quest at 46.3, 78.6. He is called Naz'jar Honor Guard, giving you a quest called Stolen Property. He wants you to retrieve a crucible. This item is located at 57.2, 89.9 at Biel'Aran Ridge. Looking at your map, it is underneath the second building icon to the right. Remain out of combat to build up speed. There is a battle going on. I would recommend going in and taking it as the others are busy. There may be a few that are out of combat and will aggro to you. The crucible is a well-looking object in the middle of the structure.

Turn in the quest, and pick up the next. (Chosen Burden) Return to the end of the ridge and turn in your quest to Lady Naz'jar at 46.4, 79.0. Pick up her next quest, The Culmination of Our Efforts. (I do believe that this one completes automatically.)

After completing the quest, you will be returned to the real world. Turn in your quest to Wavespeaker Valoren at 29.6, 78.9

You have completed the vision! :)

ok....this place sucks. SO, I don't know how this happened, but I guess I went out of order compared to Funnytoad's list. If you did what I did and completed "By Her Lady's Word" first and then completed the first part to "Visions of the Past: The Slaughter of Biel'aran Ridge" and lost your Blade of Naz'jar upon turning in the quest, complete the non Naga quests. The quest giver for these should be right across from her.

Remember to jump in the (vehicle) sea horse, not your mount. :)

For Alliance, The quests are:

1. Come Prepared
2. Unfurling Plan

**Hearth or go back to flight path and talk to people around there because the quest giver (Jorlan Trueblade) seems to be bugged.
Return to point 57:81 and talk to Jorlan Trueblade he'll give you two more quests:

3. Hostile Waters
4. Honor and Privilege

Upon completion, turn them into Captain Taylor (by the flight path).
Wavespeaker Valoren should now have an "!" above her for you to complete the chain of what I like to call HELL! (aka Battlemaiden chain)

From here you'll be able to complete the rest of the chain AND she'll give you another Blade of Naz'jar

To find the vision of the battlemaiden, literally go west from the quest giver and you will find a shimmering little orb and a bunch of "past" naga standing around it. Right click the blade and you become the battlemaiden.
A quick note to any Carbonite users, it displays this quest on your map as being to the East. Ignore the map. To the west is how you become a battlemaiden, the quest you get there takes you east.

I couldn't see Wavespeaker Valoren, but I did have the "?"..... went afk and had dinner, came back.....BINGO, completed quest.

Ignore where you found the first Vision of the B/M ....... trust yer "map" location of this next vision location. (I am not sure the relevance of the Kvaldir General's death). Anyhow, from the quest-giver,swim dead west, and at the edge of the city, swim down to below the lowest level. NOW, start back up again and PASS the first level. At the SECOND level, head east back into that level. LOOK for a (pitifully) small white sparkly light (similar to the one that you woulda seen in the columned building where the earlier vision was). Your cursor will tell you that this is a "Vision of the B/M etc". Go to it, right click the sword thingy and Lady Naz'Jar will appear with quests.

So you've done all the quests in this line and now you're boggled cuz no Wavespeaker Valoren is to be found. After finishing a very long quest line, it was really crappy when it wouldn't let me see Wavespeaker Valoren at the start point. After about a 1/2 hour of WTF n where now and was gonna quit. So I started swimming (still in naga suit) off the ledge to the west, till I got the turn around immediately message and stopped. Naga suit dropped off and I clicked my seahorse and just for chuckles, turned around n went back to the ledge. Well surprise, surprise! All the naga images were gone and there Wavespeaker Valoren stood with that really nice yellow question mark over her head. Clicked on her n got the complete and for sure am not askin why or what happened. But, I do hate bugged stuff. Peace! 1-9-2013

After much searching, I found Wavespeaker Valoren at 2929.0, 1589.3 (Carbonite Coordinates). She is not on the western side. She is on the eastern side on what looks like a broken causeway coming directly out of the EASTERN side of the circular part of the city.

Here is what you do: Keep east until you pass the 3 NPC's you may or may not have already spoken to as part of the quest "By Her Lady's Word". Keep East until you reach the "Biel'aran Ridge" (across the little abyss area) until you see 3 new quest givers."

Peter4730 helped me find this out of any other here! Just to add though because it was technically poor direction... he is talking about Ruins of Vashj'ir, Nar'shola Terrace. That broken bridgey thing that is south/west of Tranquil Wash.

He is talking about starting at the end of the broken at the end on the ground and directs you to the second level (it was a red and a purple coral thingy on the end) ((42.18, 78.20)) When you arrive at the purple and the red coral thingys you move foreward maybe 20-30 yards dead east towards a kind of cross roads that isn't very far away.

Then and only then does the NPC show up, she must be phased or something silly because one second she wasn't there and then she was.

When you accept the quest keep going east until you meet a group of three Naga and then pop your Blade of the Naz'jar and then Lady Naz'jar will give you a series of quests to do.

The most idiotic bug-ridden quest in Wow (and that's saying a lot!). The person you turn the quest in to has the "?" mark on the map, has it above the person, but the quest-giver DOES NOTHING when I right-click on it.

I was having an issue where I wasn't able to continue to this questline or find the npc. However, I kept looking around the lower half of Narshola terrace (The part with purple coral) and finally managed to find Wavespeaker Valoren after missing her repeatedly

I just spend half an hour with a GM to find out how to get this quest nowadays. The marker on the map is very far off and there are many different locations/spawn points for the NPC.

You have to go to 39,2, 78,5 on the second floor which is almost directly above where you turned in "Visions of the Past: The Invasion of Vashj'ir" some time ago. The quest giver will only appear if you are very near due to phasing. The GM promised to look into the matter and get the matter fixed someday, but until then I hope this helps.

My friend got stuck at 6/10 chapters for "Sinking into Vashj'ir" with two quest icons. One in the Abyssal Depths named "Defending the Rift", and one in Shimmering Expanse called "Visions of the Past: The Slaughter of Biel'aran Ridge". Travelling to either of the marked locations on the map did not have any quests available.

After some exploring, we found that Visions of the Past: The Slaughter of Biel'aran Ridge could be continued through Wavespeaker Valoren at: 39.20, 78.63.

We're hoping this leads on to opening up the rest of the quest chapters too.

For anyone stuck looking for the vision after picking up the quest: go directly west from the quest giver. DO NOT GO UP despite the tooltip saying it is 215 yards above you. I was stuck for years and today I found this comment from way before I even started playing and finally found the vision location:

The battlemaiden visions seem to be pretty buggy overall. Today I was in the past battlemaiden form doing quests and had to step away for a bit. I left the game running and was logged out. When I came back I seemed to be in a buggy state where I couldn't find NPCs to turn in quests. So I started abandoning all the quests I had pending and that really messed me up.

I couldn't see any quests on my screen but I found that by revisiting some of the places I had been, quests were available even if they didn't show up on the map. Working my way through those quests seemed to straighten me out.

Here are some places to check:
Around 39.4, 78.9 (lowest floor level) was where I got a quest that gave me the Blade of the Naz'jar Battlemaiden when I lost it - this allowed me to go back to the visions again
At 29.0, 78.6 is where you can use the blade and switch to battlemaiden form and get a quest
Lady Naz'jar @ 46.4, 78.9 (on a broken ledge) - I think this is where you go next to get some quests - have to be in battlemaiden form to see the quest givers
Executioner Verathress @ 57.2, 85.0 (in between some pillars) - has one quest - have to be in battlemaiden form to see the quest givers
Then it was back to 29.0, 78.6 to turn in the quest to Wavespeaker Tulra - here I was dumb and used the dagger again and entered battlemaiden form and the Wavespeaker disappeared so I couldn't turn in my completed quest - I swam down a level and went back up and she was back fortunately

Starting at Wavespeaker Valoren.
If you can't see her...

At the broken bridge, she's just underneath. There are two purple coral formations. One on the far end of the platform, and one in between two pillars. If you pass by and there's nothing, keep leaving and coming back. The mobs phase into this part of the quest, and I passed by PLENTY of times without her being there. Relogging may help.

Regarding giving back quest: I could not find Wavespeaker Valoren at 29, 79 (there was noone at all) so I gave up for the day. Logged in back in the game later and there it was together with couple of other. This quest is buggy to give back, but logging out/in could help.

I don't know if this was posted here before, but the quest giver is located on the roof in the Nar'Shola terrace /way 39.21, 78.65
Use the blade at /way 28.98, 78.65. The spark it's at floor level!

The quest marker is not pointing correctly, so don't follow it!

Coming from someone working on Loremaster in 2024:

After an hour of trying to locate Wavespeaker Valoren after I completed Gauging Success and didn't get an automatic pop up for a new blade, I was getting super frustrated. Couldn't find her anywhere. I went between all of the available Wowhead pages and read countless comments and tried countless areas and solutions. Needless to say, this is where and how I found her and this quest if you need another solution to try:

Eventually, after leaving the area and coming back x2 and making my rounds again on Nar'shola Terrace, I located her and this quest at 39.14, 78.65. Please keep in mind this was not on the ground floor but on the terrace.

I also only found her by swimming back down the tunnel from where you kill Varkul the Unrelenting during Not Soon Forgotten.

I have been going through and getting these old quests done for the various Loremaster achievements. As I come across these strangley guided quests, which usually happens once per area it seems WOWHead has been a tremendous help. This quest is a little different. There were no quest markers on my mini map at all, and I had no idea where to begin. The various "levels" make it even more confusing.

this video was the answer for me on YouTube. All of these coords are correct, it just depends where you are in that quest. Are you in normal form, naga form, etc?
