There is an awful lot of satyr-slaughtering for this quest, but since you can do it with Ten Pounds of Flesh it isnt horrible. However, a good thing to note is that there are weapon stands sitting around with 2-3 sabers each. I only found them to the far west edge of the satyr area, under some pillars, but I didn't go back to search the rest of their stomping grounds to be sure that there weren't anymore. This quest is not repeatable, but Ten Pounds of Flesh is.

Is there anyone else that thought of this song (Die Krupps "To The Hilt") when reading the quest name?

I thought it might have been a clear reference at first, but I'm very doubtful now. I believe the phrase precedes music from the second half of the 20th century.

However, I see that there's an unrelated song with the same title from an album of the same name by Golden Earring. More recently, a song was released with the same name from The Devil Makes Three on their self-titled album.

having a lot of issues with all the quests in this area. I will collect all of what I need but when i do it won't let me turn it in. Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong or maybe there is something wrong with these quests?

You obtain the Satyr Saber off the following monsters around Sargeron, Desolace:

And also from the Weapon Racks scattered in the area.

Once you have the swords, go back to the statue and click it. You'll then throw all of the swords into the bowl on top of the statue. Quest complete.
