I was able to get A LOT of eggs from this spot (on a high pop server), figured I'd post a screenshot to help people out there that's having a lot of trouble getting eggs.

This is directly to the right of the Golshire Inn entrance/exit. Standing from the green circle, you'll be able to loot 5 egg spawns. The blue circle on the right is another close spawn, but you'll need to move just a little bit in order to reach it, so keep an eye on that spot.

This is really a waiting quest. but it doesn't hurt to do it to up your char. I was waiting for some time. I think if the eggs had been allowed to spread out more it would have been easier, but no quest is meant to me easy right off the bat i suppose. Just be patent and you'll have it done in no time. XD

Make sure to do this quest concurrently with A Tisket, A Tasket because the shells drop while you loot the eggs for chocolates.

The purple bunny's are player, the "tiny colorful eggs are JUST DECORATION (simply fun). And be for worn you will be fooled by all the purple bunny's for the eggs. The eggs Are the larger decorated egg's. Now you just have right click your egg before the other players.

Stop camping, running around will score you many more eggs. I acquired everything I needed in 4 hours running around the outer edge of Azuremyst. It also helps if you do it while people are in school.

While Noblegarden & Children's Week overlap, you can turn this in with your orphan out, and it counts towards Daily Chores just as any other daily does. Also, calling your orphan doesn't dispell the Noblegarden Bunny buff.

It's faster to run around, rather than camping a spot.

Got 100 within about 20 minutes time in Teldrassil even with people there.

Why would you ignore all the others while waiting for yours to respawn?

You can pick up the Quest in Goldshire, and then finish it in another Area. I just picked it up in Goldshire, and got half my eggs in Teldrassil and turned it in there. Good way to level alts, gives lots of XP.

i keep right clicking nothing happens! I have nothing in my bag to pick it up and put into. and by that time someone has taken it just nothing seems to be happening is there some thing i need to pick this egg up? Quest EGG Hunt !

Spring Collectors is an optional breadcrumb quest from the cities to this quest.

The Brightly Colored Shell Fragments are an extra quest item that drops from the eggs you open; you still get the contents of the egg. The Brightly Colored Shell Fragments no longer display in your inventory and no longer take up a bag slot. So if you are gathering eggs anyway, this daily quest is a painless bit of extra rewards.

The players are now camping around the egg spawn points around The Goldshire Inn making this quest now impossible to complete there.

Brightly Colored Shell Fragments drop from eggs you already have in your bags before you accept this quest, so if you want you can collect as many eggs as you want as quickly as you please and open them gradually with each daily reset.

I can confirm now that there are now NO eggs around Goldshire because there are players camping around the area looking for them making this quest now impossible to complete there. Try Kharanos Dun Morogh or Azuremyst Isle instead.

For me, the easiest place to gather the eggs in Goldshire is the south side of the inn, there are about five eggs behind the flower pots and it seems like no one is ever on that side.There are also eggs hidden in the bushes around trees, the trees north of the blacksmithing building always seem to have some!

Botters try to ruin this quest every year.

Just circle around the inn and click the eggs until you get enough. Took me about 15 minutes.

Where to farm? That is the question! Zones are mostly empty on the (Wrath) Classic servers and quite busy at Razor Hill and Goldshire on Retail. Each zone has its advantages and disadvantages for egg farming:

Horde:

Brill: Retail: Great variety of locations, most easy to find. A great place to farm. Wrath: Compact but the shrubbery is very heavily textured, making the eggs rather difficult to see as almost all the eggs are concealed in the bushes.
Razor Hill: Eggs are easy to see but you have a lot of running to do.
Bloodhoof Village: Some very devious / clever hiding of the eggs and a huge area to run around.
Falconwing Square: Compact and although attempts were made to hide the eggs, pnce you get a roll on you will zip through easily. Best for Horde!

Alliance:

Goldshire: Retail: Everyone comes here so respawns happen fast! No optimal route though. Classic: Eggs seem few and far between here.
Kharanos: Easy to see the eggs and your route will be a simple oval. A great location for Alliance, especially Classic!
Dolanaar: Eggs are mostly hidden in dense shrubs and there is a huge running area. Avoid!
Azure Watch: Compact, eggs are well hidden and there is no real optimal route.

Ideally you want a few other players with you as the respawns will come thick and fast and this situation is where Falconwing Square really shines. To see accurate maps (there aren't any here on Wowhead and indeed it is just not possible due to the imprecision of coordinates) I strongly suggest this AddOn by yours truly. It has almost every spawn point in every Classic and Retail zone too! Alliance? Toss-up between Goldshire and Kharanos with Goldshire shading it as its more social/fun.

The eggs aren't actually all that bright. They are rather gray and more like rocks.

the shells don't seeem to drop in valdrakken, i got 35 eggs with not one shell drop off of them. so the eggs seem bugged in Valdrakken

Description

Noblegarden, celebration of life and spring! I hope you've been enjoying the egg hunt, friend, because I could use the services of a capable individual like you. I'm not certain what form of magic was used in the creation of the eggs, and the druids aren't keen on explaining it to me. Perhaps you could collect some shell fragments for me during your egg collection. You can keep the contents of the eggs; all I require is a sufficient sample of the eggs themselves.
