They appear to have fixed the bug with being mounted, but I had to drop the quest and re-accept in order to get Krolmir to advance the story. (Neutral when I originally accepted the quest, friendly when I accepted it for the second time.)

Here is the conversation between King Jokkum and Thorim incase you missed it:

King Jokkum yells: Thorim! Come show yourself!

Thorim says: King Jokkum you have summoned me?

KJ: The deeds of your <race> servant defy her stature, Stormlord. Her efforts have succeeded in softening the hearts of my people.

T: Jokkum, son of Arngrim, I have always regretted my actions here. In my grief, I have brought great harm to those closest to me. I would ask your forgiveness for the suffering I have caused you and your people.

KJ: Never have such humble words come from mighty Thorim. I shall deliver your words to Dun Nifflelem. The events of that dark day are hereby forgiven by my people. They shall never again be spoken of. To signify our reforged relationship, I have something which belongs to you...
As the great explosion filled the region, my father cast a rune at the great hammer that it might not be had by our enemies. It was his final act...

T: Krolmir... I thank you Jokkum. I hadn't dared hope it still existed. It shall soon see glorious battle once again!

KJ: We welcome the opportunity to fight by your side, mighty Thorim. I must return to Dun Niffilem. We shall speak again soon, Stormlord.

Stick around for the whole scripted event. Eventually you will be able to turn the quest in with Thorim. You do NOT turn this quest in at the top of Temple of Storms. As soon as I got the quest complete I booked it out of there. I wasted a lot of time trying to find where to turn this quest in. Don't make this mistake! It can simply be fixed by abandoning the quest and getting it back from Thorim (he will be on top of Temple of Storms like he always is) Can be quite annoying for those without an epic flying mount.

I got ganked while listening to the exchange between Thorim & Jokkum.... not sure where to turn it in now. I guess I'll have to abandon and re-do it again. Questing in Storm Peaks on Mug'thol as Alliance is practically futile. I get ganked about 6x per hour. Horde outnumber alliance 3 to 1.

Yes. You must be friendly and you must complete the quest Jormuttar is Soo Fat before he will tell you what you need to know.

This one is not bugged the only thing is you have to complete the Quest he give's to you: You mutter is soo Fat, after this Quest completed you can talk to Krolmir, ride on his back, stay on his side, then will King Jokkum apear they talk a lot the the golden ? appears you can hand it in.

Once you mount the king and the scripted part of the quest has finished, you must talk to Thorim where he appears, with King Jokkum, right infront of you. I mounted up and went to fly back to Thorim up in the tower, to no avail.

When you have not yet completed Jormuttar is Soo Fat... :

If you got: Relic off Ulduar you can turn 10 off them in by Lillehof... You gain 250 reputation for that... what you need to get a friendly reputation with the Sons Of Hodir what will open the qeust Jormuttar is so fat... You get this one from the King of Sons Of Hodir

I had a bit of an issue when the King dropped me off. Instead of dropping me gently, I took fall damage. This isn't such a big deal, but if someone were low on HP when they got to the end point, it would suck if they died.

Anyone else having this problem?

Confirming that you must complete "Jormutter is soo Fat" and "In Memoriam" in order for Jokkum to talk to you about finishing this quest, even if you are Friendly or higher already.

1) Take the ride from "King Jokkum"
2) Wait until there done talking.
3) Turn the quest in right there. (71.35 49.05) (not on the top of the hill)

MISSED TURN IN:
-- If you miss the quest turn in then return to "King Jokkum" (65.43 60.43 -in the "Dun Nifflem") and get another ride back to the turn in point at 71.35 49.05

-= Wait for the event to end and turn in.

The dialog would complete but the completion option wouldn't show on Thorim. This was frustrating, but I found if I logged out after completion next to Thorim and logged right back in, I could complete the quest.

Blizzard has to be the worst game maker of all time. Completely lazy. This quest should have been fixed 10 years ago with the false turn in point and lie about the quest being completed. How did they STILL NOT FIX THAT 10 &*!@ing years later?

Thorim wants you to talk to King Jokkum in Dun Niffelem and discover what he knows of Krolmir.

Description

One task remains before I can reclaim my home at the Terrace of the Makers.

Krolmir must be found.

On that fateful day, I threw it to the earth with all the power and rage I possessed. A mighty explosion followed.

I've thought it lost for these many years, but now I must be certain.

Return to King Jokkum and discover what, if anything, he knows of my hammer's fate.
