Don't be like me and wait at the Colossals. They DO NOT! do any moves that you would observe. Don't be silly like me and wait at them for awhile, the Attack Specs and Defense Specs are like pieces of paper, and look like maps almost. (coming from the air they do.) You can see them from the air, and they are "Attack Specs 28.9 44.0" and "Defense Specs 30.0 45.7"

I found the defense spec near the two canopy-esque tents near the Colossus's feet, and found the attack spec near an actual tent north of the Colossus.

These are lootable within a druid's birdform. Druids do not have to bother with the shifting out then back in and can avoid mobs.

If you fly around, you'll see them fairly easily. I was able to grab both required items to complete the quest without ever getting attacked by flying in next to the item, dismounting and grabbing it.

Easiest quest ever.

I have 98 completed quests in Storm Peaks and unable to find any other quests. I need to complete 2 more quests in this zone for the achievement.

After using Wowhead to locate quests I have not done, they all seem to be at Bouldercrag's Refuge Quest Hub. However, no quests are displayed for me at this quest hub.

Am I missing something? Perhaps a pre-requisite to activate this quest hub?

Khad, I am having the very same problem you are. Very frustrating. I am even using the Quest Completist addon to try to find all the quests I need to get the acp but for some reason I cannot get Bouldercrag to give me the quest. :( Any ideas?

I had trouble finding the defense specs because the sparkles were partially hidden by a mob swinging a sparkling hammer under a canopy at 29, 45.

A Colossal Threat

Retrieve the Colossus Attack Specs and Colossus Defense Specs and bring them to Bouldercrag the Rockshaper at Bouldercrag's Refuge.

Description

You've done an excellent job of delaying the work on the iron colossus, but I fear we've only made the stormforged more determined to complete the weapon.

Even now, they're bringing in new laborers and the overseers push them to the limit. We may not be able to keep them from bringing the colossus online, after all. Return to Narvir's Cradle, to the south and find the documents detailing the colossus' offensive and defensive abilities. They should be near the tents and forges on the bottom level.
