FYI - Kungaloosh is a term crafted by Disney Imagineers for their Downtown Disney bar 'The Adventurer's Club,' located in Orlando, Florida. The bar/ comedy club has comedy actors who walk around and interact with the crowd, with the term 'Kungaloosh!' being the clubs greeting phrase.

Will be added back in the game when 3.0.8 hits.

A recipe has been added for Kungaloosh. You can learn this recipe from an NPC in the Dalaran sewers once you have completed the quest 'The Taste Test' in Sholazar Basin.

I am also unable to get this quest from Tamara or Thunderbrew. Is there something we missed along the way? I don't think its cooking skill related because i am 443/450 cooking so did i miss a requirement to start this chain elsewhere? I have completed all other quest in Sholazar,so I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

I tried to finish this quest today - It worked on Hemet and Hadrius, but I got an "Invalid Target" message when I tried it on Tamara. What am I doing wrong? I mean, it's not like it's complicated. : /

So far I've given the punch to all 3, but gotten credit for none of them. They drink it, comment on it, yet the quest still claims I need to have all 3 sample it still, have tried logging and gotten the same results. Will edit after actually exiting the game and returning, see if that works.

Edit: After doing an instance and exiting the game for a short period of time, I was able to successfully complete the quest.

I did this quest today to get the The Northrend Gourmet. After getting the recipe from Washed-Up Mage I realized that Recipe: Kungaloosh differs from the original made during this quest.. I guess Grimbooze Thunderbrew must have perfected it.

I am trying to complete the Taste Test Quest and I cannot get Hemet Nesingway to take the taste. When i click/select him then click the 'Jungle Punch Sample' I get a Invalid Target (in red ) on my screen. But the other two Hadrius and Tamara complete with out issue. I asked some other ppl and they said they didn't have an issue. I was wondering if there was another quest i needed to complete? Or maybe you have suggestions. I cleared the cache in wow and rebooted my pc. I have disabled all AddOns and abandoned and retook the quest. I still can't get him to drink this stuff. Please help I'm ready to scream. I'm on a horde toon Mage lvl 80 on the Dalaran server.

I got the error invalid target in red as well. I also noticed that the beer stein icon doesn't display a red dot when out of range when Hemet is selected. It does show a red or gray dot when others are selected. I submitted a bug report but this appears to be one that requires more time aging the sample. My tune is a lvl 78 blood elf palidin.

6/7/17 - Still can not offer "The Taste Test" to Hemet. Get the "Invalid Target" when I try to click on the drink after selecting him as the target. I have three toons waiting for this quest to get fixed.

Hemet is not working, other two without issue

waiting and doing quests, reaquiring quest or reloging is not working

maybe Hemet just became first abstinent dwarf in history, to again feel special - when it is you, who steal all of his greatest kills?

I just completed this quest finally! Like many others, I was previously unable to get Hemet to take the taste test. When he was clicked on, the little drink icon never got the gray circle showing that it was ready to click or anything. It kept saying invalid target when I tried to complete. I abandoned the quest a few weeks ago and finished getting the other 44 Northrend recipes learned and cooked.

I came back to try one more time today, accepted the quest again, etc. Offered it to Hadrius and it worked normally. Next, I tried Hemet and it didn't work at first. Then in some combination of accidental clicking, I saw that something had been "interrupted" so I tried one more time. I think I may have double clicked the icon or something? Really, I have no clue why it worked. I still didn't get the gray circle on the icon like before, but whatever I did, the quest is now complete!

I honestly don't know if it was fixed or if I was doing it wrong. It's so long since I started this quest, I can't remember. HERE is how I did it today: Get the quest, walk up to hemet and click on him (green ring), click on the icon in the quest log. He should drink it then. Rinse and repeat with the other two. I did all of the quests leading up to this one but not all of the quests in Scholazar Basin.

On 6/27/17, I successfully completed the taste test (at lvl 89, not that that matters.) I dropped it back in the late 60's, when Hemet wouldn't comply.

I've always wanted to say that. Normally, I'd debut a new drink at a banquet, but we can't have one in the middle of the jungle.

Instead, just take samples to a few trusted friends and return with their comments. Let's see, we'll definitely want Hemet Nesingwary's opinion, and Hadrius Harlowe's, too. They're here in camp. You'll want to head over to Lakeside Landing, near the center of the Basin and offer Tamara Wobblesprocket a taste.
