Yanni is in the same area as Wind Master To'bar (42,55). She will not have a ? over her head so you will need to look around for her a bit.

Interesting side notes. The carpet dose not De-spawn you small pet nor does it enter shadow form

Do not log out of the game while flying, the magic carpet will go on without you. In other words, you'll log back into the game as a ghost (depending on where you left).

When I took this ride with my troll rogue, it was a shaky one. Can't remember it being a very shaky ride. Anyone had similar?

When speaking to Yanni to get on the carpet, you will be told the following;

We've lost a good many of our wind riders on scouting missions to the west. The Scourge is ruthless in their assault against any would-be spies. Fortunately, I've come up with a solution that only risks the life of the rider. It's seen a 30% survival rate to those being ferried across the Plains of Nasam. That's a 30% improvement over when we were using wind riders!

Part of me kind of wishes that every time you started the carpet ride, there was a 70% chance it would malfunction somehow, and you'd be unceremoniously dumped 5 feet from the launch point.

I keep getting logged out when I talk to Yanni to get on the carpet. After 2 times I just decided to fly there myself.

Fell through the world after I got on the carpet and couldn't do anything at all. Still seems to be bugged.

Magic Carpet Ride

Talk to Yanni at Warsong Hold to arrange safe travel to the coast. Speak to Annihilator Grek'lor once you arrive at Garrosh's Landing.

Description

Tanks, mon. I be talkin' bout siege machines! We got heavy tanks stationed at Garrosh's Landing on da west coast. We gonna get you to da tank and you gonna use da tank to lay down some Horde justice on da Scourge!

Da only tricky part be getting' you der. No way we be sendin' you on our wind riders. Too risky.

You see dat pixie o'er der? Dat blondie elf? Yanni be his name, mon. He can get you to da coast, safely. Once der, talk to Annihilator Grek'lor!
