First of all, these mobs appear in the Teron Gorefiend fight.

These are mobs that are spawned around a player when he or she is killed by the Shadow of Death debuff. The player then becomes a ghost and needs to kill the constructs so that they don't wreak havoc upon the raid.

Shadowy Constructs can only be killed by players who are afflicted with the Shadow of Death debuff which is applied to a player by Teron Gorefiend of Black Temple.

At the end of the 55 second duration of this debuff the player will die, transforming into a ghost and spawn a number of Shadowy Constructs around them. These Shadowy Constructs can only be killed by the player who has transformed into a ghost with the following abilities given to them. The abilities will show up in a pet bar.

Spirit Volley: Cast time: Instant. 15 sec cooldown. Fires a concentrated volley of spirit energy, dealing 9900 to 12100 damage to all targets within 12 yards. Only usable on shadowy beings.
Spirit Strike: 5 yd range. Cast time: Instant. A powerful strike that weakens the target, reducing the damage it deals by 10% for 5 sec.
Spirit Lance 30 yd range. Cast time: Instant. Fires a burst of spirit energy at a single target, dealing 6175 to 6825 damage and halting its movement briefly. Targets hit by Spirit Lance will gradually regain mobility as the effect fades. Only usable on shadowy beings.
Spirit Chains Cast time: Instant. 15 sec cooldown. Shackles nearby targets in chains of spirit energy, preventing all action for 5 sec. Any damage caused will break the effect. Only usable on shadowy beings.
Spirit Shield
40 yd range. Cast time: Instant. 1.5 min cooldown. Protects a friendly target with a barrier of spirit, absorbing 11400 to 12600 Shadow damage. Lasts 30 sec.

A good way to kill these constructs is by starting with Spirit Volley and then quickly cast Spirit Chains. Then you target them one by one and cast Spirit Lance on them until they all have 3 stacks of Spirit Lance. After they have 3 stacks of Spirit Lance on them cast Spirit Volley and then quickly cast Spirit Chains again. You should be able to finish off the constructs with a Spirit Lance or two now.

When you have killed your constructs it's a good idea to go help the next person finish off his constructs and maybe cast Spirit Shield on a healer.

If you kill Teron Gorefiend before killing these, you will not be able to harm them and they will become immune forever. After a set period of time they will die. About 10 mins for my group.

There is a bug of which if you kill Teron at the time before someone turns into a shade and these spawn, they will be immune and attack your raid.
