Blind the golem then kill the target.

Distract or blind the golem to "separate" it from the target, then kill him. Golem dies when he does.

Bribe does not work.

Well, it does work on Tercin--who fights the golem and gets killed by it, but you do not get quest credit.

Let the golem be in front of Tercin with her walking behind it....then Sap Tercin and the golem will keep walking for a good distance. Kill Tercin....win !

ok so anyone thinking of going to the isle of Quel'Danas and running across the water there is a nice big invisible wall (thanks blizz) just before you get out of the fatigue zone but this does drop you at a GY near fairbreeze village in eversong woods (not far from the city) useful if like me you haven't unlocked any of the FP north of Stormwind.

Simply using Sap or Blind on Tercin won't work as the Golem will not wander. I found it easiest to Sap Tercin coming around a corner (Terci was always in front of the Golem in my experience) then dashing off or vanishing if the Golem saw me. With Tercin Sapped it's easy to wait for the right moment to blind the Golem and take out the target. FYI Golem is capable of 1 shotting as it's damage is around 4M per hit.

Let me just say first that this quest is bull!@#$. Also, I've never been so angry at the lack of flying in starter zones... prepare to walk to your corpse, ALOT.

First, you have to get to Silvermoon (best route: Shattrath, portal to Quel'Danas, then fly to Zul'Aman (Flight Path; if you try to manually fly, you'll run into all sorts of complications; thanks, Blizz!). If you can take the Orb from Undercity as Alliance, I'm not sure, but that is the best alternate route). Once you're there, obviously, Stealth through. Points to keep in mind here: Arcane Golems patrol the city, and they will likely see you anywhere you linger too long. They also manage to kill you VERY quickly if you're seen. Vanish *does* seem to work.. sometimes... but it's no guarantee. And if it's any help, you can't Pickpocket virtually anyone here besides the target.

Once you make it to your mark (shows up as a "star" on your map, and patrols the main road through the city) make sure you Sap the TARGET, *not* the Golem, as he is immune, and you will die.. fast. From there, it's a quick and easy kill if you wait a few seconds.. providing no one else is around.

*Next Target*: Undercity. Best move is to teleport away from Silvermoon and then take the Dalaran portal to the Dalaran Crater, then fly towards the Undercity/Lordaeron.

And then... well, I gave up. Once you make it through the city (you can't Sap the guards.. that's precious) I have no idea what "the terrace above the Rogue's Quarter" means. I died multiple times trying to figure out where I'm supposed to go, only to be seen by one of the many guards and killed in seconds. Over and over.

What follows next, I'm not sure, but I may try again in the future. But for now, this is my advice. I hope it helps in getting you that far. I also hope that the other mount quests aren't as ridiculous as this, because Warlock and Mage sure weren't this stupid. Good luck!

Quite an exasperating quest to do on Wyrmrest Accord Alliance. You're only going after one of the two biggest RP hubs in the game for the Horde.

It's not that fun to sneak in. Fortunately, there aren't a ton of folks flagged, but that could change.

Blind the golem, then run for your life!

Arcane Demolisher kills me in one hit while I'm still some distance away. SUPER fun quest.

The long graveyard walk makes it even more awesome.

It's even better than the "pickpocket a ridiculous number of mobs to get various trinkets" quest that comes earlier in the rogue class quest chain.

If you still want to do this after BfA, wait till you get to 120. Then fly to Zul'Aman, run up to Silvermoon, sneak in, avoiding Golem's. Find a fairly empty spot in the city and when target comes around Sap it, then Blind the Golem and kill the target. Hearth out and move on.

Do this quest once you hit max level (60 currently).
Otherwise stealth doesn't get you past the patrols and guards and blind can miss on the Golum.

At Max level it was straight forward. Was badly geared freshly levelled and blind hit the golum and the mark attacked me and I finished him off quickly.
