Exactly. I went to another tab while this page loaded, then started to hear voices and was confused, I only had Wowhead tabs open, as a Patron with no ads o.O
The video has been removed from the front page but is still included in the complete article. Twitch's embed code forces autoplay and the autoplay false suggested option hasn't been working for us before and we've seen similar complaints googling around.
Looks like Lore has gained a little weight. Also thanks for putting the live stream on this site.
How do people manage to get any Raiding done? I've never managed to find a proper BRF Group that could actually kill anything, and I'm here on my first alt with no Highmaul Normal groups available for neither DPS nor Healer. How do people manage to Raid? Do they just buy Boosts, or how do they catch up in item level when the hype of a Raid is over?
What about challenge mode raids, that would be interesting.
I want to know if anything is being done to counter pugs in group finder disbanding as soon as the raid is formed, without any fighting taking place. As a pug raider, I'm pretty frustrated by this and it's killing my progression. It wastes the time I have for raiding and removes my availability from a group that will actually attempt to raid.
Blizzard seems to be taking an incredibly hands off role in group finder. I feel for ya, but, i would bet all my gold that they won't take any steps to directly improve this anytime in the near future. Most of the time, their advice seems to be effectively 'Join a guild or, find better PUGs', which is not the worst advice but, not something i personally care for either.
Surprised lore is still around after that huge post filled with lies about Karabor/Bladespire, the community never quite forgave him for that.
The community doesn't make decisions for Blizzard's HR department. Whatever Lore said Blizzard was on board with it.
Oh if only I could have a couple hours to talk privately with these guys...
There are so many other questions I would like to see asked:What are we doing to make people want to explore Dreanor? Since flying was taken out I do all of my free time exploring in older areas. It takes far to long to get around Dreanor and its very boring seeing the same ground pats over and over. I have zero interest in completing all the quests because its so slow that I can't justify it. Its the same reason people never go and explore in the Silvermoon area. Ground mounts are fine for leveling first time, but after max level you graduate to something better. Garrisons are great, perhaps too great. Alts are basically nothing but follower quests toons now. Does Blizz have some plans to make garrisons more interesting without taking away from the game?Professions have lost all resemblance of point. They are now worthless. Not in any xpac to date have I had 10k of every crafting material in the game an absolutely nothing to use them on. Crafted gear is patch week level loot only and does not carry any weight beyond that. Taking away stat bonuses, unique things like blacksmith keys, and fun stuff makes crafting nothing more than raid supplement and it completely uninteresting and unnecessary. Is this being addressed?Alts have almost no purpose anymore. They used to be good for two reasons. Something to do when you main is all done with raids for the week and to supplement your main. Be a gatherer toon or make additional materials on daily cool downs to help your mains. Top that off with it taking forever to level them (heirlooms help, but also take away from the game since you don't need to quest as much/or at all to hit 100). The balance with profession nerfs and flying nerfs have made alts seem pointless. My favorite thing to do when waiting for raid time was to hop on my druid fly around getting tons of herbs waiting for people to log on. Now I have 10k herbs and my druid never/ever leave his garrison. All my herbs came from a garden and I never have a reason to fly even if I could.Raids feel fine this xpac. Some too long encounters (Imp/Maidens). Gear lvl is low between raids - need more incentive. Warforged HM gear is sometimes as good or better than the same difficulty non-warforged in BRF (because of stats). That should not happen. BRF should be obviously better else there is no incentive to farm said items. Think how badly everyone wanted ICC gear. It instantly trumped the best TOGC items and made people starve to run deathbringer over and over for just to get that one item they had to have. I have run BRF three times and I am already getting bored with the items. No feeling of connection to them. I can't name a single item that feels like a must have item and that sucks. I understand the feeling of balance, but at the sacrifice of fun its pointless. Some things just need to stand out or there is nothing to focus on or reach for. The nail that sticks out gets hammered down attitude is making the game flat and lifeless.I enjoy the concept of garrisons although too limited in customization and too focused on quests and followers. Its turned into nothing more than a quest hub/city. It maxes out fast and has no purpose in changing. I want to see this take on a bit of a minecraft mentality, but less extreme. 20+ size expansions to unlock (takes the entire xpac to get them all). Micro building available to really heavily customize the look and to show off your dedication to friends. I visit 50 garrisons and they are all the same as mine. May as well just be a city that has follower quests and dailies. At least then I would see other players.Dalaran was the best city to date - centrally located (horde and ally). Quests and dungeon, portals to popular places you might want to go to blow some time. Easy flight to things you want. Shat was too confusing and too far from some zones. Older cities can't really be related to xpac ones. Sorry skipped most of MoP so can't say.Blizz has taken this mentality lately that they have to drastically change what we have each xpac instead of simply working to add new things. Garrison's had the potential to add 20 million customers if done right. Yes, 20 million. Think best MMORPG/Amazing Sim creation in one. It could literally attract that many people. Instead it feels like nothing more than an afterthought that was whipped together in a few weeks to give the game another checkbox to put on the back of the box. Instead of nerfing every unique aspect of the game to make it insanely easy. Create some new paths for people to use and give choices old vs. new. Old school players may choose to keep going that way and new players can choose it or a new simpler method that ends with similar perks, but a different method of getting there.I could go over forever. Literally. The entire point is that WoW is still the best MMORPG, but it is not improving either. Not at all. Its gives a little and takes away a little. End result is the no improvement over he previous model. It works since the base model is still better than other companies, but I would like to see the base stay intact and add something completely awesome too it. Not something half baked like garrisons or pet battle either. A completely new game element that stands out on its own and could be the sole reason for playing WoW. While still having the raid/pvp/rp element they use today. I had high hopes Garrison building was going to be that elment, but its not even as cool as dark cloud 2 on the PS2 was.One last thing. Add more speech in game. Like how FF games work when you talk to any random person. Instead of just saying "For the Horde!" a million times for all of eternity.
Flying mount would be first on my list of "important points".
"Can we get Mythic 5-man dungeons?"They're called challenge modes. -_-
eeeaawww.....Look at that ugly lady. O that's Lore.
I dont trust man with such face as game designer, specialy as lead designer. Tbh, now i discovred for myself why WoD so boring - coz this guy is boring as stone.
