Death Knight: Heart-Lesion

Druid: Springrain

Hunter: Trailseeker

Mage: Mountainsage

Monk: Mistdancer

Paladin: Sunsoul

Priest: Communal

Rogue: Lightdrinker

Shaman: Streamtalker

Warlock: Felsoul

Warrior: Oathsworn

The fastest riding speed you automatically learn is Artisan Riding.

Veteran profession boosts do not have you automatically learn trainer recipes--you will still need to spend gold. Consider only learning max-level recipes to save gold.

If you use a Veteran profession boost but don't have profession learnt, the game will randomly pick them for you.

Mage portals are not learnt automatically as well.

If you're on a PvP server, leave the Timeless Isle as soon as you can! People like to farm flagged characters for Bloody Coin with Censer of Eternal Agony and your boosted 90 in bad gear is an easy target.

Vendors, Currency and Bonus RollsOld Justice and Valor Vendors

Epic ilvl 489 gear formerly cost Justice Points. If you have an ancient 90 that doesn’t have boosted gear, these are sold choices for all slots except weapons. Sold by Commander Oxheart in Townlong Steppes--click on the NPC to see all of the the items.

Epic ilvl 522 Shado-Pan Assault gear formerly cost Valor points. While most of this gear requires Friendly, each boss gives 300 reputation and trash gives reputation too from Neutral to Friendly. Plus, you can buy the ilvl 522 neck at Neutral. All slots are covered except weapons, with Shoulders requiring Exalted and probably not that practical for gearing up quickly. Sold by Ao Pye in Townlong Steppes.

Item FinderSolo/Small Group ChallengesCharacter Plannerhttp://wowhead.com/plannerMountacularMists of Pandaria has several types of content that are challenging for small groups or solo play. Working on this content can help you get more familiar with your class.

Proving Grounds are a good place to experiment with your class and spec. Proving Grounds lets players try out solo tank, healing, or dps challenges in a comfortable setting--you aren't surrounded by anyone watching. Gear is scaled down to ilvl 463, so you don't have to worry about feeling undergeared for challenging content.

Proving Grounds will be updated for Warlords of Draenor, where Silver will be required to random queue for a heroic dungeon.

Wowhead's Proving Grounds Guide covers maps for each Gold and Endless wave, basic tips, and descriptions of all the enemy mobs for all three challenges.
Challenge Modes are timed dungeon runs where your gear is scaled down to ilvl 463 and mobs are trickier than in heroics. With gear out of the way, it's all about skill and communication--worth doing with friends. You can even earn cool rewards like unique transmog sets, mounts, and titles!

Our Challenge Mode Guide goes over all the rewards and gear rules, provides videos of each encounter, and suggests useful items and consumables to make runs go faster.
Once you've gotten some better gear, check out the Brawler's Guild. With an invitation, you can queue up to fight dozens of wacky bosses in a Fight Club atmosphere. Each fight only lasts 2 minutes, so it will get easier with gear--although, of course, a good strategy and knowledge of your class can shave off seconds as well!

Rewards include a unique mount, pet, and title, as well as vanity shirts for defeating specific bosses.

Our Brawler's Guild Guide covers all the basics including obtaining invitations, special consumables, rewards, an overview of the boss fights, and achievements. We also have two great user guides covering the boss fights--Rank 1-7 by Okacz and Rank 8-10 by Pwuebear.

Probably worth mentioning that the i502 boot quest where you drag Seer Hao Pham Roo up a mountain (from 5.3) is still in the game, as well. Go talk to Lorewalker Cho next to the archaeology trainers in the Seat of Knowledge (above Mogu'shan Palace) to start it - you have to do two scenarios, but you're probably doing two scenarios anyway.

Comment by Adamsm

Very awesome Perc. This is a great guide for boosted and brand new 90's.

Comment by Sillver

Does anyone know if that lvl 90 boost is only for pre-purchase games , or will everyone who buys Warlords get one with the game ? myself i dont feel like buying game before hand , as i will probably buy Collectors Edition when its in shops . And there is few other ppl in my guild that will do the same .

Comment by Adamsm

If you buy the expansion, you get the boost.

Comment by Arilwen

I am beyond disgusted at this. So basically you get a turbo-charged character for zero work that is better geared than most EARNED 90's and with MUCH better bags. Those bags go for a huge sum on my server so I am still using Frostweave(apart from my Dragonhide drops from S3D)! Way to go Blizz. Anything for a buck right?

Comment by Adamsm

Um....what? Four bags and a 150 gold, with green gear. No bank bags, no professions for the brand new toon, and no extra items. I have multiple toons with a full set of 26 slot bags on each...know how I did it? I made a tailor and leveled him, then passed bags around. Before then, I gave cloth to friends/guild mates who had tailors and they made me large bags.

Comment by Nessamyna

I agree, this is a long way from being "turbo-charged". Most of us have worked hard on our 90s and honestly most new players aren't going to take this option because the learning curve as you level a toon is necessary. This is for people who want more alts with less time doing the same quests over and over.

Time is an issue for some people and as I work on my characters. On my 5th 90 I'm clear on gameplay. I prefer to spend my time on something else.

Comment by CrimsonTemplar

Engineers can also enchant their belts. (Nitro boosts, etc ).

Comment by yoink

You have some incorrect ilvls listed in the chart for raids. You have 540 for SoO LFR, when it drops 528, also I believe the requirement is lower than 510.

Comment by 1119822

what about faction-rep grinding like Order of Cloud Serpents?

Comment by 1119822

ppfff i'm still using Netherweave/Enchanted Netherweave. But my item level is about 515, so the ilvl isn't too bad...

Comment by Adamsm

what about faction-rep grinding like Order of Cloud Serpents?

Would have to be grinded out; and at this point, not going to be changed for WoD.

Comment by chaoslord92

Kind of bad on Blizz's part to place your character on TI with green gear (as you said for those to be warned about pvp servers); think both or just pvp server players that use this should start in their capital or something. :o

Comment by katosjoes

Sadly, if you're a holy paladin boosting, no weapon for you on the Timeless Isle. Only a shield.

Comment by KillashandraRee

If you boost a lvl 60+ toon to 90 do they have to have leveled their professions to max allowed at 60 or just learned the 2 primary and first aid? Would save a ton of time and mats if the boost worked from just learned to 600!

Comment by Adamsm

No, they'll boost up no matter what the profession level is.

Comment by 989836

Sweet I've really been wanting a priest this thanks for the guide. This is going to make lfr so hard lol

Great guide! :) (Small typo in Currencies, the line beginning with "There are no Tier 16..." making the currency appear like "Currency#306". )

Solid info! :)
