All level 90 players in a raid can work on the legendary questline at the same time.

Legendaries are for everyone. Players complete quests for legendary gems, which are then socketed into Sha-Touched weapons from raids. There are nine weapons classified as Sha-Touched, covering all possible specs.

With this system, guild are only limited by the number of Sha-Touched weapons they see each week.

Legendary gems can be placed into weapons from LFR. Quest items can also be looted in LFR.

This legendary series will span the expansion, with more elaborate rewards each tier.

The reward for this first tier is an epic weapon with a legendary gem (Crystallized Horror, Crystallized Dread, Crystallized Terror), not an actual legendary weapon. Additional gems can be purchased from Commander Oxheart for , and guild discounts apply.

The reward for the second step is an additional prismatic socket, Eye of the Black Prince. Earlier on beta, there were upgraded gem options like Refined Crystallized Dread instead. Additional sockets can be purchased from Commander Oxheart for .

5.1 Quest Seriesparticipate in the new faction hubs

A Test of Valor: Gain A Test of Valor by earning a total of 6000 Valor Points.
Points earned retroactively will not count. This will take 6 weeks total to complete.

Spending points does not affect your total.

Gaining points beyond the weekly cap does not count.

This quest can be started after getting a Sha-Touched gem.

The Measure of a LeaderThe Prince's PursuitA Test of Valor

Horde forces are located in Domination Point in western Krasarang Wilds.

You will naturally gain reputation if you do Operation: Shieldwall dailies or farm Bloodied Scroll.

You can gain reputation with The Black Prince without having this quest in your log.

Before reputation bonuses, the new 5.1 rares give 400 reputation and normal 5.1 Krasarang mobs give 20 reputation.

You do not need Trial of the Black Prince in your log to get reputation from kills.

Reputation is gained by killing Mogu and Mantid in Townlong Steppes, Vale of Eternal Blossoms, Dread Wastes. You can get reputation easily while doing Golden Lotus and The Klaxxi dailies.

Normal mobs give 10-12 reputation.

Elites give 15-30 reputation.

Rare Elites give 40-45 reputation.

Adds give 1-3 reputation.

You can use items like Battle Standard of Coordination to boost your reputation gains.

If you are a rogue that has completed Patricide, you can skip this step.

October 2The Strength of One's FoesMogu'shan Vaults

The 10x Sigil of Power and 10x Sigil of Wisdom will be lootable by anyone on the quest.

Sigil of Wisdom is acquired from Terrace of Endless Spring and Heart of Fear, and Sigil of Power from Mogu'shan Vaults and Terrace of Endless Spring.

These legendary quest items can also drop in LFR.

I say "probably never see" because, on top of grinding out stuff most people this far in won't need, there's also the matter of killing the Krasang Wilds leader, which, when we killed him on my server back at the start of this patch, required a 25 man raiding party that required a two tank, five healer setup to survive an NPC that drops absolutely zero loot, meaning that, unless you are at that point of your quest, you have no reason to want to kill him.Comment by karatechopTest of Valor is a joke. These weapons only drop from Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring. Each difficulty tier has a unique color and they can all be transmogged. In addition, using a Shadow with Jin'ya, Orb of the Waterspeaker or Kri'tak, Imperial Scepter of the Swarm will give you a cute Sha-Fiend instead! Not so.

As long as Wrathion's intro quest, , has been turned in, and is available, you can earn reputation from kills. If you don't Pickup the quest at exactly 0/1000 Valor collected for the week you will only be at somewhere around 5010 - 5990 on the 6th week.

the last 10 - 990 will be collected in the 7th week,

For me When I got this quest I had 330/1000 Valor and so after Week 1 I'm actually at 670/6000 Valor meaning 5 weeks of 5000 valor points puts me at 5670 and week 7 puts me at 6000.
