Back in the day, when I was lvl 60 (that was huh..4 years ago?) I was drooling at epics that were on auction houses. Probably because at this time only a few guilds were able to actually attempt a raid on molten core, and epics were rare (yes, long time ago epics were rare). I was playing a rogue and I was going crazy about Krol Blade, I loved the looks, I was amazed by the stats and of course - purple name. I remember nights when I was thinking how could I get it, I was reading forums, asking people how they got their Krol's. Finally on one of WoW Database websites I have noticed that level 60 mobs in Winterspring have the highest chance of dropping a Krol Blade. How much was it? Uhh.. 0.3% maybe? Anyway.. I have spent over 6 days in winterspring killing bears. SIX DAYS. I got nothing, not even a blue item, n-o-t-h-i-n-g. Everyone in my guild knew that I'm crazy about Krol Blade, they costed about 800g then, and it was A LOT of money. On my birthday, which I was convinced noone knew about, my guildmate asked me if I could help him summon our guildmate to Ironforge so yeah, I helped him and we have summoned our mate. Out of nowhere a few people from my guild appeared, they formed a circle around me and one of them gave me the Krol Blade. What happened? I was so consumed by farming I didn't really pay any attention to the guild chat, I was totally bored and without hope. They decided to collect donations from my guildies and so they did, they got enough gold to get me the Krol Blade, I was literally @#$%ing myself. In my whole WoW career I've never been so happy, the holy grail, the Krol Blade was finally mine. It wasn't a drop, but the whole ceremony created by my guildies was absolutely epic and that definitely was the best moment in WoW for me.Thanks for reading :)
