NPC’s to run dungeons with, NPC’s to send me work orders, all I need now is to sign up a heap of NPC’s to my solo guild and I’ll be set 😁
The amount of work-orders that try to scam players is disgusting on my realm.Perhaps there should be a mandatory minimum comission fee for each missing reagent of like 1000 gold.Well, at least for public work-orders, not for guild or personal work-orders.
I would like to see in the future that scammers or just people with no brains, can not place a order for 40 silver and no mats, when the mats alone cost the crafter like 2k or so.And dont give me that crap that well it helps the person raise their crafting level or quest, that is a lame excuse by scammers to rip people off. This is the biggest complaint I have seen this xpack, every time i check public orders it always has a list of peeps offering 40 silver for items that cost the crafter a hell of a lot more,so they can get it and sell on ah,mainly the pets like the blacksmithing pet and other stuff also.Make a option if you want crafter to provide the mats that the lowest they can place a bid is what those said mats are going for on the ah at the time.
It's that hard now for the weekly quests. Take engineering, just have an alt order bolts for 1s. The engineer makes the bolts and the orderer sends them back to the engineer to use in other recipes.
Now, will they tip fairly, or follow the majority of players in offering 1 silver and providing no materials?
I've been using alts to send POs since those were introduced. You can just send the cheapest gear option, or even use alts to make the SAME items also required for weekly profession quest, retrieve it from the mailbox on alt and send back to crafter to save mats for those weeklies. Kill two birds with one stone!I normally check crafting weeklies on LW and BS only and if those aren't same that you can use WOs to make, then I send Wrists WOs. All the others, I just send regen mats WOs since you almost always need those for bunch of other crafts anyway.Eng = Handful of Serevite BoltsTailor = Wildercloth BoltScribe = Serene Ink (or one of the other cheaper ones)And finally JC = Shimmering ClaspLets see what sort of WOs these NPCs send and how many mats are included. Also, would those work on a personal basis (ie quest objects that multiple players can use) or will it be as usual benefit those camping their crafting tables 24/7.
They need to change the following for the public system to work:
I came back after 3 years away from the game, took one look at all the bloat with materials, currencies, upgrade items, etc. in this game now and threw my hands up at it. I've decided I'm just not gonna waste my time on professions or anything to do with upgrading anything anymore.I remember FFXIV having the same issue with mat bloat back in 2020ish when I played that. SquareEnix acknowledged there was just too many items in the game and stating they'd fix. IIRC, they did - so now here is Blizz, 4 years behind and backwards...idc if they borrow inspiration from another platform, but to borrow the most griped about and somehow manage to make *more* issues? bffr. The whole profession overhaul is just over-engineering at its finest. As useless as a refrigerator with wifi.
Blizzard looking to make the work order snipers richer.
Damn... Khadgar needs a S.A.V.I.O.R ASAP.At least he is not dead as my beloved Dalaran. We gotta hurry.
I’d rather just use the Auction House. Not that it doesn’t have its problems, but work orders just duplicate the AH in a worse way. I’m sorry they don’t seem to be changing professions much. The new system has so many drawbacks and rough edges and above all is unnecessarily complicated.
At least Khadgar didnt ask for an order with 0 mats provided and 10g payment ! like players do
This looks like a system perfect for bots to exploit. just making the problem for actual player the same
