I thought the little story was nice, and a good little side thing that Dragonflight, so far, has done really well.
Rip canon, kekw. So, "Some events are worth changing because our hearts wish it so." changing the past to save people is fine eh?Why don't we just go and help Arthas save his kingdom from the scourge since its no biggie xDI love it when writers purposedly destroy what others spent 20 years building. Its like seeing a building on fire, except the fire people are throwing gasoline on the fire.- To be clear - I don't judge the little story in itself, its fun and all. What I'm judging is that it is taking part in a universe where one of the most fundamental rules is that "you can't change the past, or !@#$ery happens" and this story concludes with "its ok to change the timeline".
So, this seems to be hinting at how we will finally overcome the Infinite Flight. Not by eradicating them, but by understanding what drove them to become Infinite. Redeem the ones who are willing to change. Some may never return, but others may not be irretrievably lost... like Eternus proved to be reachable. And Nozdormu seems to be willing to consider, maybe some things should be allowed to change.
Drakthyr infinite skin incoming.
I did get marvels what if animated series vibes where this is similar to the episode with dr strange trying to prevent the death of his lover
Is the mega dungeon required for this questline?
Very cool story, I like it. But I agree that the line "Some events are worth changing because our hearts wish it so." is sus and a certified bruh moment after all that.
Geeze, she sure gave up quickly.
You know, all cosmic forces kind of want things done their way but they fail to see that what the First Ones (the game developers) set in motion, cannot be changed. And everyone will be screwed, one way or another, with what is to come (the next expansion). And it will be repeated for every expansion until all is destroyed (the game is shut down). At any rate, I am getting the feeling they want to either sugar Murozond's coming by making him just and kind or just convince us that Nozdormu can avoid becoming Murozond without screwing up the timelines.
I mean, what exactly did Nozdormu do? Bronze light and a vanishing body? A case could be made that preventing her death at the very moment of death and teleporting her to the future, or rather "now", would not negatively affect the timeline. Maybe the future? But the future is always in flux with endless possibilities because it has yet to be set in stone. Anyone ever see that 80's movie, "Millennium"? The premise of it was essentially about time travelers taking people from doomed airplanes, ones in which caused mass causalities when they crashed, and taking those people to the future to live out their lives in order to repopulate since humanity was on the verge of extinction. Something to do with pollution and being incapable of reproducing... Anyways, I could see it as a "justifiable" means of saving Eternus' sister without breaking a cardinal sin. Her death still "happened" in the way that it needed to.
Who's Vexemia?
Has anyone actually thought THAT little Bronze Whelp was actually Chromie? š¤That might be the reason why Nozdormu (who obviously knew it) let play the events of her death exactly as it happened to make sure Chromie survives after she's born otherwise they could end up in a Time Paradox where Chromie died right after her birth hence all the events leading upto them getting there would never happen.Edit:-He also says very strongly that line to little whelp. Go get some help, I am sure you will survive, you HAVE to.
Mawsworn Kyrian MKIIā¦ or maybe MK0 depending on what point of the timeline we are in
