I love how you make these posts done by "specialist writers" that add absolutely nothing more than anyone can deduct from reading soulbinds xD
The Fatal Flaw soulbind is really nice!
You can't really pick these writers to give their opinions for ALL DPS or ALL HEALERS, etc. They're mostly talking about their own perspective in terms of their class.
"Life is but an Appetizer While you are Well Fed, gain 0 Speed and 0 Avoidance." Uuuhh thanks, Theotar?
Yes, Nadjia is shaping up to be a powerful soulbind. But im really wanting to hear the lowdown on Kyrians and Night Fae. Niya is disappointing to say it mildly. Whereas the ever popular Pelagos gets much stronger. With conduits becomming stronger over time, I could see even more gravitate towards Pelagos as he does not sacrifice any potency conduits. Though I wonder how high ilvls potency conduits should be before they outedge the dps traits locked behind finesse or endurance paths.
It would by considered a betrayal if English folk would pick anything different than It's always tea time ? :D
While fatal flaw will change covenant distribution to resemble more equality. I'm concerned that this further boxes in specs that are already swayed towards venthyr. In particular, if you want to play enhance at any serious level you will 100% want to play venthyr. This makes it suboptimal to venture into players elemental, which really favours necrolord. Really hoping Blizzard eventually pulls the ripcord and allows covenant switching with less drawbacks.
> We asked Pelinal, our Holy Paladin writer, to give their thoughts on the new Venthyr Soulbind traits for all healers.(emphasis mine)Pelinal promptly goes into detail on how the abilities affect Holy Paladins.
Can you do some actual testing before post here?1. Nadjia' Nimble Steps root effect cannot be break by any damage. It works like hunter's binding, not druid's root. It is not like you said, "roots are generally very weak because they break on damage so it has really questionable value overall."2. Party Favors got a lot of bugs right now. The tea can be obtain repeatedly just by log in and log out of the game. It can also trade with other players and used by other players. Players can also drink all four different tea and get all four buffs at the same time. I just use it during yesterday's raid test. Hmm, feels like you just read the spell description and write this article without any actual test.
Venthyr is the #2 choice for DPS DK and #1 for Tank but no analysis for us?
Party Favors is definitely a bug and I've already reported it, but Nimble Steps I am not sure. Anyway, this is PTR test and we should just write as it is. If it is a bug, point it out in the article, not misinformation, or simply not write it just because you think it is a bug. Right now, Nimble Steps cannot be break by damage, just test it out, write it in. If you feel like it is a bug, report it.
I hope I can get my Versatility over my Crit in 9.1.
the thing that effects warrior the most, is if that new venthyr legendary stays this broken. soulbinds really don't matter if it does.
