Winter Vale takes the (Holiday Fruit) cake. You get to decorate your Garrison (yes, that is fairly recent but it rocks!) and it gives a totally different feel to the season. Would like to see some sort of deco in Order Halls. Every 4 years it also wouldn't hurt to add a little World Cup fever to Azeroth. =)
My favorite wow holiday is Brewfest! That was the last set of achievements I needed for What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been and who doesn't love a good Wolpertinger?
Hallow's End is by far my most favorite holiday in WoW due it's it's atmosphere and that is when I started playing the game as an forsaken warrior. I remember vividly spending a lot of time in the old Brill in Tirisfal Glades. I wish more different costumes would be added during Hallow's End event.
Midsummer is my fave holiday because I started playing WoW in June 2006 and remember it very fondly. Also I love the summer months!
Hallows End, I just like the generell vibe of the event.More creepy transmog or toys :D .
Winter's veil is my favourite, I love christmas and christmas-like events :3 I love snow ^^
My favorite WoW holiday is Brewfest. We like to make an IRL party of it & pick up a variety of craft beers and Brewfest snacks to have while we do the holiday dailies. It'll take some work, but I hope I'll have a Dark Iron by Brewfest this year - he'll neeeed a Direbrew Remote!
Honestly, it's so hard to pick one! I like Hallow's End because of its myterious atmosphere, Winter Veil because of that heartwarming feeling you got when you open presents under Christmas Tree (new Christmas theme that plays in Orgirmmar is soo beautiful!). I love Brewfest, because of those goblin jokes and giggles and of course RAM RACING. I like Childrens week because of those cute orphans and pure joy they have when we travel the world together (they remind me myself as a begginer in WoW).But probably Midsummer Festival is my favourite, because this holiday was active when I've started playing WoW. So many sweet memories! That's why I never miss it and always dance by the pole — just to listen to the music and enjoy nostalgia.
Favorite Holiday, I would say one of the ones I remember the most is Noblegarden, the first world holiday that I participated in on WoW. There's just something special about egg hunting with friends.
Pirates' Day, all the way! Because who doesn't like being a pirate? As for holiday items added to the game, I'd like a mini sailing ship that functions similar to the angler raft. Maybe one that even shoots cannons and can "sink" the ships of other players.
Tough one, but I do love how Hallow's End is pretty easy buckets of XP for non-max-level alts. (No pun intended.) Cycle though them doing the daily quests, and sometimes with insta-completes if the Headless Horseman was just killed recently.
I'm really torn between Lunar Festival and Children's Week.I really like Lunar because it covers a subject of import to me: treatment of elders. I'm guilty of not be particularly interested in the stories of my elders, but I never disrespect or belittle them. Too often I see the younger generations, including my own, pushing the elderly around/away as if they were worthless. This holiday helps to remind me that not everyone is like that. Blizzard only seems to put in their games what they believe in, and I'm glad that includes respecting those that have come before. As for the children's one, given the last one it should be obvious: children are as important as the elders. Seeing to their care and inspiration is the responsibility of everyone that came before, and whenever I can play for that week (it somehow is always when I'm annoyingly busy with real life) I try to do everything I have the time for.
Brewfest. Booze, meat, dwarfs. What's not to like? While I'm generally a fan of darker atmospheres and events and the Headless Horseman's rhymes alone could make Hallow's End incredible, Brewfest is one of the few instances of evidently festive atmosphere that I can enjoy. Probably owning to real life experiences... few things have brought me closer to people than conversations and exits with a bag of bottles in hand
Hallow's End is my favorite (as is Halloween in the real world). I would like to see more Hallow's End themed toys WITHOUT any holiday requirement to use.
Winter Veil because winter is my favorite season IRL :)
Without question: Hallow's End. It's always been my favorite holiday in WoW and, also, Halloween is my favorite holiday :)I have been trying to get that Headless Horseman mount since it was introduced to the game... my luck is really horrible lol. Maybe this coming 2018 Hallow's End will take pity on me :)Hallow's End FTW! Oh, and Naxxy (the newest vanity pet) is so awesome!
My favorite holiday is Brewfest, because I never get tired of battling the Dark Iron Dwarves over to save the beer! I wish they hadn't remove the intoxication effect, because that made the fight extra challenging, when you couldn't see where to throw the mugs any more.
Hallow's End will always be my favourite in game holiday, it almost always begins on/near my birthday and I even keep the decorations up in my Garrison year round. I would like to see even more Halloween themed battle pets this year!
Hallow's End is my favorite because I remember it most from it's first introduction and how mysterious it was trying to figure out everything you could do!
