So...you are implying that big name can only be achieved through...popular image? If you don't have the masses, if you don't show yourself to them in order to win them - they don't know you as well? Or they don't know you at all?I am not disagreeing, just trying to make a little bit more sense of it.
"Awe-tur", surely, not "Awe-tour"?I, too, don't really see what you're trying to say in this article. The statistic you quote comparing Reservoir Dogs to Finding Nemo suggests that it's better to be a part of an unknown group of people behind a project, rather than as a single person with a single vision on a production that can be directly attributed to that single person ... yet the end of it seems to suggest that Metzen "should" be an Auteur, given how big WoW is?Maybe I just read it wrong.
Why is it "Tour", though? Wouldn't it be pronounced like the "Tur" in "Turtle"? "Tour" is pronounced "Tor", last I checked.
Just because it's been brought up several times, here's a link to the entry in the Merriam Webster dictionary (complete with pronunciation sound):http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/auteurSo, it really is like "ō-tour".... And to the person who thinks "tour" is pronounced "tor":http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/tour(too-Ər)
