Seems like a lot of people are content with their 2-button mice.I would implore you to try a mouse with back and forward buttons though. It really is a huge difference. I always have M5 (forward) bound to an interrupt as there is no quicker way (ok, spacebar ties).I also like to use M4 (back) for ventrilo, but that's just because it's the most comfortable for me.

I use a Microsoft Sidewinder mouse, and a N52te (aka, Nostromo). After using the Nostromo for 2 months, I can not play WoW without it. It makes healing, soloing, and PvP so much more effective. I have yet to try a "gaming" keyboard, because the only thing I do with mine is type for guild chat and whispers.
Hmm, I couldn't live without my G-Keys on my G11.G1-3 = Stances/BloodFury,etcG5 = Cleave / Deadly ThrowG8 = Battle ShoutG9 = Demo Shout / BlindG10 = Drums of BattleG11 = Comm. Shout / Hunger For BloodG12 = Thunderclap / RuptureG14 = ThrowG15 = Top TrinketG18 = Bottom Trinket
I have the Razer Lycosa and Lachesis (with Destructor mousemat - for FPSes normally). One of the main reasons I got these, though, is because I'm weird with OCD and everything I have on my desktop has to be blue (Antec 900 case - blue LED fans, monitor has a blue power LED). They are good though - both are comfy, look good and perform well (you can make a macro with every mouse button (out of the 9 it has!) or key on the keyboard).SpeedLink Medusas for headphones though: very comfy, good sound (5.1 emulated surround) and have a mic attached.
I currently use Razor Lachesis mount, and Razer Tarantula keyboard ;) They both rock.
I use a standard keyboard - but I really only use it for chatting. For actual game control, I use a Belkin Nostromo SpeedPad n52. I also use an Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 (this is the 3.0 - I need to upgrade!). I have all my spells keybound; the primary keys on the Nostromo are either numbers 1-0 and -+ or numpad 1-0 and -+ (with the "profile shift" thumb button held down). The two side buttons on the mouse are bound to Alt and Shift; I can combine those 12 keys plus the profile shift and the two mouse buttons to easily activate any of 72 action bar slots. So if my keyboard ever broke, I could still do everything in WoW except for chat - and I could do that, but it'd be tricky. :PI picked up my Nostromo back when I started MMO gaming - with City of Heroes - and I honestly don't know that I could stand to play without it. I hate using the keyboard for game controls; must come from being a "console baby".
My girlfriend actually uses the Lycosa keyboard... and I cannot stand the thing. It feels like a crappy laptop keyboard. I hate laptop keyboards >_>She absolutely adores the thing though, which just demonstrates that everyone should go with "what works for them".I personally use a Saitek Cyborg keyboard (same keys/feel as the Eclipse 2, some other fancy crap that I don't really use) and a Logitech G7 mouse. Love them so much.
I run dual keyboards (don't ask, it just ended up that way...lol) I use a Zboard by Ideazon with the original World of Warcraft Keyset for battle, and a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000 for typing and general keypresses. I hope to upgrade to the WoLK Keyset, if for no other reason, it has a /roll button and saves me a macro! I also use a Logitech MediaPlay mouse. It's a few years old, but has held up extremely well and has loads of programable buttons, and there's nothin better than havin an Autorun right at your thumb!
I used to use a Logitech MX700 mouse, but the charging pads finally gave out after many years.I now use a Logitech MX revolution mouse. Both are GREAT mice for wow.I still use the keyboard that the MX700 mouse came with (the ole' logitech duo mx kit). Its just a keyboard, but it works. It does have multimedia controls on the top, so its nice to be able to play, skip songs (and change volume) without windowing out of wow. I love having wireless mouse/keyboard.
I use a G15 and G5 by logitech for keyboard and mouse respectively.
I've been using my Logitech stuff forever. The original G15, with the flip-up LCD and blue backlighting, and a MX518 mouse. I don't use the G-keys at all; I tried for a while, but they're just not all that convenient. The feature I LOVE is the LCD. See, the LCD is supported by Ventrilo. There's no learning voices, I can see who's talking. I won't consider replacing this G15 with anything that doesn't have a similar LCD.
