I just recently bought the (regular) DeathAdder and enjoy it very much. I was slightly tempted by the fancier mice (from the Naga on down) but ultimately I went with the DA and it does everything I need, so no complaints :)Granted, this is the right-handed version, but still!Edit: Ooo, I remember one of the other Razer mice I was looking at had a big selling point that it was ambidextrous (don't recall which one). So they've seen the market/possible need for a while, but it's pretty cool that they're specifically addressing it.
I will give it to Razer, they made me a believer (at the moment) of their mice product line.I had a faithful mouse in my Logitech G5 which I decided to set aside when I heard a WoW mouse was coming out. SteelSeries left me extremely jaded and bitter when I bought their $100 WoW mouse which lasted me all of 2 hours of play before the left click started sticking itself down. :| It promptly went back to the store where they gave me a second one which I stuck in a drawer, left to be forgotten... With the release of Windows 7, I was even more angry because they (SteelSeries) had failed to deliver a driver in parallel with the OS release. It wasn't until months later that they finally did... TOO RATE (too late)! I pulled out from the mice pasture my Logitech G5 (that I bought in '05 or '06-ish), apologized for my immature and short lived affair with SteelSeries, and went back to my usual gaming...Then my youngest brother recently introduced me to this new cutie that he was playing with for Cabal Online - The Razer Naga. I went online, saw the price, saw the massive numbered pad on the side, and was instantly curious. I bought one on Amazon and configured it in WoW with their WoW bar addon, and started practicing playing with it. It took me some time getting used to where my spells were mapped on my mouse but after awhile, it made for some easy healing on my priest and easier gameplay with my warrior. The quality was also better than what I had expected...On another note, as a female gamer, I found the size of the mouse to be much more comfortable for my petite hands than the SS WoW mouse and the Logitech G5. Thank you Razer for giving me a product that is worth my money.*hugs her Razer Naga*

I have used a Right handed mouse my whole life i do not think i could change...Leftie here!
I think it's great that Razer is making mirror images of the mice they already make for the odd folks that insist on using a left-handed mouse. However, most games I can think of are meant to be played with the left hand on the keyboard and the right on the mouse. Why else would most FPS's have the buttons around the WASD keys mapped to functions? The fact is, the people who are being brought up to use computers are being taught with the mouse on the right, simply because more people are right-handed. I am speaking as a left-handed person who is used to the right-handed culture of the world. If it wasn't for the fact that it would take too long for me to be able to write clearly with my right hand, I would retrain myself to use it instead - it would solve the problem I'm constantly having with accidentally smudging my own writing simply because the English language was designed for a right-handed person.
I'm glad to hear that at least one peripheral company is looking into making left handed mice. I'm on my second Razer mouse (lachesis) and it's an ambidextrous mouse. It's great, but I look with envy at some of the fully buttoned, neat gaming mice out there, and wish they had left handed versions.I could switch to using my right hand, but after nearly 20 years using my mouse left handed, I see no reason to switch just for the convenience of more options. I've remapped most of my keys in games to be used around a number pad and the right side of the keyboard, and it works fine. I'm half tempted tp buy the left handed one and if nothing else, stick it in a drawer until I wear out my lachesis, so I'll have a lefty spare.
I really prefer trackballs but no companies that I find make gaming trackballs. I find that really annoying. Has anyone seen a gaming trackball?
