Lore has been a joke for longer than it hasn't been, and whenever I level critique at a lore/narrative development, sloppy retcon, a writer's use of "this happened because it just did okay?", the first excuse given is always "bro it's just a game the lore isn't a big deal nobody really cares to follow it so strictly. XD" Yeah, that mentality is fine, but then don't get all fussy and restrictive about something that could be a flavorful improvement for one of the classes. It's a weird and arbitrary hill to die on. At least say what you truly mean, which is that you don't want Demon Hunters to have something that offers singular appeal to Dracthyr at the moment.

I'm on the anti-demon hunter flying side. Although I often main a DH I cannot even imagine a good animation to make DH dragon or static flying look natural. Don't mind being proven wrong and be given an even bigger reason to main a DH but I doubt they will do it. Frankly surprised they did it for Dracthyr.
Great start, but still awful because they won't let us land without having to re-cast it.I care less about being able to interact while flying and more about not having it canceled upon landing.Seriously fail to see why Dracthyrs don't get the same treatment as druid. At least make it instant cast!
ok then I am going to level a dracthyr im the remix.. so I will have my main which is a worgen destro warlock, a dracthyr(they stated more classes are coming so we will see ) and im going to have maybe shadow priest and a fire mage a elemental shaman maybe a bm hunter too.. Oh my here we go // well thank you blizzard I think I have my warband now.. 6 characters.. I dont know how im going to do this but I will attempt it .

So if Static Flight as a Dracthyr ends when they touch the ground, how do they take off? Double jump? Still the same soar button?

Hello, Demon Hunters ringing...really think bliz abandoned DH at this point, from a 3rd spec to a flight form, these have all been asked for countless times and yet they have been leapfrogged yet again. not to mention probably the laziest most uninspired hero talents of them all.
