On the subject of orc priests.First of all, orc priests were a thing in BC already. Using all traditional light and shadow abilities without any problem. Shadowmoon Clan in Draenor was pretty much all about void magic as well. Secondly, if you disregard what Legion did to remove any uniqueness different races of priests had, only few priests actually worship the Light itself. Tauren derive their powers from An'she, trolls - from voodoo which in turn is likely derived from loa themselves, night elves - from Elune, pandaren - from celestials. It's perfectly reasonable to think that any individual can become priests as long as they find something to draw power from. No reason why orcs cannot. In fact orcs are the only non-allied race that can't be priests now, and that's a bit unfair. Moreover, orc priest was a class-race combination that Red Shirt Guy himself was most interested in. Get over your stereotypes and let orcs be something other than grunts.
“But when Gul'dan offered them the blood of his demonic masters, the disparate tribes of Mag'har—the orcish word for "uncorrupted"—refused the dark bargain and banded together to drive out the Burning Legion.”Lol that’s not what happened at allLike, that doesn’t reflect the events of WoD at all. Then again, I prefer to think WoD isn’t cannon and these orcs are just MU Mag’har.
I'm glad the war campaign will be available at launch :)
Ugh I hope Mag'har don't get released with those awful racials, they only have 4 too while Dark Iron have 5? This is like some bad joke, worst allied race yet.
I still can't believe the Mag'har racials are this lame.
I'm still disappointed that the Alliance get another race that can be paladins but Horde seemingly aren't, based on spoilers from Zandalar. Also, the Mag'har racial for pet health is only useful for one of the classes they can be and even then it's not really something that matters unless you're playing solo. I'm not going to get my hopes up but I would really like Zandalari paladin because if not then I'm going to be forced to be a Tauren who can't enter 90% of buildings while mounted.
Darn, I was holding out for a Mag'har Warlock. Guess I can resume leveling the Lock that I started - before I learned about the new race :(
I won’t choose any because I have not received a Beta invite.....yet....
I cant wait to play my Mag'har orc warrior. Spent soooo much gold on him already! But Allied races models are so disappointing from what I'm seeing, the have not reached their full potential.
There is so much wrong with Alternate universe (AU) Draenor Orcs coming to Azeroth... Thanks Mag'Har, but no thanks. Just stay in your AU and leave us alone. So are AU Durotan and Draka going to come and hang out with Main universe (MU) Thrall? Do they have an AU Thrall to bring with them yet? What about any other kids? Does Thrall have an AU brother or sister now?Since the AU is open now, what about Yrel? What'll she say when she meets MU Velen after the dramatic ending of Shadowmoon Valley? What about characters that are alive in both universes? Are AU and MU Drek'thar going to be drinking buddies? Maybe the younger AU Drek'thar and care for MU Drek'thar in his old age.WoD is the biggest mistake Blizzard has ever made story-wise. Why did we go back to a DIFFERENT universe entirely? If we just went back in time to our own universe and the goal was to make sure the same events that happened back then, happen again (Caverns of Time style) then fine. Okay, WoD would be fine. But the way WoD was, and AU is, being handled muddies the story line so badly. Also, that intro paragraph about the Mag'Har is pure propaganda. Grom is a criminal and should have died within minutes of Fel Lord Zakuun's death. One final thing, Garrosh should have been executed after SoO. By the Horde, by the Alliance, doesn't matter. We've killed people for way less than what Garrosh did.
