GG blizzard.... U made 4 covenants and 80-85% of classes/specs they have to be night fae nice balance.... And if a raider want to play except the raids mythic+ like unholy or mage or rogue he haves to w8 finish cutting edge and then to go and push keys.... hmmm so awesome blizzard
Differences are marginal. You can do all content with all covenants.
I changed my survival hunter back from night fae to necrolord 500-1k difference in dps in m+ thanks to their covenant soulbinds and ability is frustating (night fae get with korayn u get First strike which Damaging an enemy before they damage you increases your chance to critical strike by 25% for 5 sec with no cooldown. Also 10% dmg on enemies over 75% hp while necrolord get with heimir crit After landing 10 critical strikes, you gain 18% increased chance to critical strike for 10 sec. May only occur once per 60 sec. also 3% max main stat with boneforge reveries). That 15% dmg increase on Death chakram is laughable compared to wild spirits.

wtf there is far too less Nightfae there. Better buff Nightfae.
As a kul'tiran boomkin (drustkin) I won't be anything but necrolord :( glad there's some buffs for me but looks like it's not enough

Same with paladins pretty much forced into kyrain, any other choice other than maybe venthyr is a bad move.
I guess I got lucky choosing Night Fae as a Havoc DH because of her story lol
in my KSM m+ experience groups are only looking for 1 player with the covenant that matches the dungeon being run. otherwise no one cares what covenant you are. lists like this are deceiving in that nightfae could just be 1% stronger than other covenants which makes them the "meta" pick, but it is in no way an indication of nightfae being OP or other covenants being underpowered. its just a mathematical game only hardcore min-maxers care about
