Requires lvl 5 to eat.. Quite op fast heal :P
EDIT: When I looked up the item in game it had only a 200-500 'ish heal in total. I looked it up at the vendor in Stormwind as lvl 18.
It might change upon reaching lvl 85 or 90.

I'm far more shocked that looking back at this and realizing that I'm the only one that instantly thought "Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana" when seeing this food item in the game...

Not to say that this is an intentional reference, it could be something completely different, but I've always thought it to be that way. The thing fits perfectly and sounds almost exactly like the lyrics for the song, afterall.

There is a place called "Banana Beach" in Tel Aviv (Israel).

You can get 5 Tel'Abim Banana from Saelienne back in the Central Encampment at 49.87, 61.65.

Been working on updating my guide for The Wandering Isle... it seems this has a much higher drop rate than led to believe (it lists 0.03% from Plump Virmen. It seems the level you kill it at effects what you get in return. Killed a bunch of these on a level 70 when the mobs were level 20 and never got a single banana, killed some at level 16-17 and got 3 much quicker... It seems at higher level you get Snapvine Watermelon from the mobs instead. Was looking through mob drops as I was trying to get enough for Tastes Like Chicken using resources on the island.
