Mount Neverest shuddered once before collapsing in on itself. Grath Moredeath turned away from the ruin he had wrought, turning to the beaten rulers of the Horde and Alliance that were lying on the ground. The man smiled at them, "An interesting power, wouldn't you agree? I have given my might to the most powerful individuals of this world. And now I rule..." Grath struck out, the High King and Warchief turned to ash instantly.
Grath's one hundred and ninety nine followers fell to their knees before him. Grath smiled, spreading him arms wide, "Today, Azeroth fall under our rule! Today, the Ley Lines belong to us! Who can dare to stand now?" His followers stood, raising their arms as he did...and lightning fell on the world.

Hello! Welcome to my newest RP idea. So this is a post apocalyptic world, taking place after Mists of Pandaria, ruled by Grath Moredeath and his 199 followers, called the 'Chosen'. Grath found a way to 'feed' a Ley Line into the body of a sorcerer. So, he took the most powerful for himself and found 199 power hungry souls to gift the others to. Grath then bound the lesser Ley Lines under Karazhan, from which he rules with his bodyguard; ten of the Chosen and an army of scared mortals. The Dark Portal has also been destroyed.
Grath's other Chosen rule all of Azeroth with an iron fist. They have the power to crush cities. All factions have been destroyed and the citizens are now slaves. There are a few pockets of resistance, though the only way to match on the Chosen would be to either have power of infinite proportions, or to bind a Ley Line, which is currently impossible. So the rebels do what they can; the main three are as follows;
Knights of the Golden Moon;
Formed from the remnants of the majority of the Alliance of the Eastern Kingdoms, the blood elves, and the Argent Crusade, the Knights of the Golden Moon are devoted to protecting the public from the Chosen as much as they can. They operate mostly in the Eastern Kingdoms.
Blood Drop's Legion;
Headed by skilled warlocks, Blood Drop's Legion is formed out of the remnants of the Shadow Council, the Scourge, the Forsaken, Knights of the Ebon Blade, Shado-Pan and the Earthen. Their primary focus is taking down the Chosen. They don't care how many civilians die, as long as a Chosen goes down as well. The Legion regularly tries to raid Karazhan for the Ley Lines, and they hate working with the other two resistance groups. They will kill them if they get in their way. They go where ever the Chosen are.
Ashes of Vengeance;
Formed out of survivors of the Kalimdor Horde, the draenei, the night elves, the Golden Lotus and the dragons, Ashes of Vengeance operates mostly in Kalimdor and Northrend. They wish to unite the other two factions together. They sometimes form elaborate raids to take down Chosen, trying to minimize the lives lost.
Other Notes; ten of the Chosen are dead at this point, but Grath is not concerned. Each player may have one Chosen, any other race or class goes. The Chosen are mortal and can be killed as long as they don't notice you or have shields up. You can play in one of the three factions, in Grath's army or as a neutral party. If you have any other questions, talk to me in the Open RP Q&A. Have fun!

Character:
Grath Moredeath
Location:
Karazhan
Grath Moredeath stood on his balcony overlooking the burnt landscape that stretched out before him. His pale skin was stretched thin against his skull. Bright blue eyes glared out through a mop of gray hair. The skinny human wore a plain brown suit, but he radiated power. Power incarnate.
Skelts scurried up to his master, long green ears quivering slightly, "Master Grath, I bring news!"
"What is it, Chosen?" Grath's voice was calm and cool.
The goblin swallowed, "The Undercity was taken by Blood Drop's Legion, Master Grath. Should I send a few of the Chosen there?"
"No," Grath didn't even glance at his underling, "Let them have the old ruin. It does me no good. The more time they spend fortifying that dump, the less time they spend actually bothering me."
"Yes sir," Skelts turned to leave, but he glanced back, perhaps gauging his power against Grath's. But the Chosen was no fool; he could never match Moredeath in a battle. But goblins live longer than humans do...Skelts could wait...
