Hi everyone this is a relaunch of one of the more popular Stories on the board.
For everyone not familar with the back ground you can find it here->
Industrial Azeroth.
The Technology (I put this here cause it's really important.)
• Unfortunately, I wasn't exactly able to elaborate on how advanced the technology was in the prose. I hope you can sympathize/empathize a bit on that. To make it easier on me and on you, I'll spell out some of the details in plain English so it's not mumbled-jumbled literary vagueness.
- Radios are the televisions of today; they're common in every household and are the main way that information gets around to people.
- Televisions are expensive and of the tube TV variety; only the really rich have them.
- There is no internet and no personal computers. Computers are huge, bank-breaking to buy, and are pretty much only useful for being a databank. Big corporations have them to manage all their data and what not.
- Cellphones exist, but they're flip-phones of the clunky variety. No texting or fancy keyboards or iTouches or Blackberries and such. Most of Eastern Kingdoms has reception, a good portion of Kalimdor doesn't.
- Mounts are still in use since they're more useful for long distance traveling and rugged terrain, and gas stations aren't on every corner for vehicles. Automobiles are pretty large and inefficient for the average person who's not carting around a family, so motorcycles are more in use for day-to-day city travel.
- These are vintage type cars, people. No corvettes. Motorcycles are a little bit fancier, but nothing extreme and still of more old designs.
- As per usual, Azeroth is more advanced in certain areas. Things like robots whatnot are still running amok, though true Artificial Intelligence outside of what the Titans have created has still not been developed.
- Zeppelins, airships, helicopters are the norm for air travel. The first two for long journeys and the latter for close distances. There's no commercial airplanes yet.

(I remember the old Industrial Azeroth. I remember loving it. I want to see it back. I want to see this work. Who'll help me in my venture?)
Character:
Curho Demoneye
Location: Cleft of Shadows, Orgrimmar
Orgrimmar... had changed. What had once been rugged landscape of desert, carved out by the sheer will of the Horde to survive was rapidly changing into a world of machines and steam. Of metal and electricity.
It was... interesting, but he was not sure how he felt beyond that. There had been worse changes, of course, over the years he had seen. Things were... different now. He was different now. Such little time... Such great change...
He shook his head, clearing it. It didn't matter: he was surrounded by shadows here, he didn't need anymore. He was... well, maybe he wasn't. No one can ever be free from something like that... Especially... Well, especially.
He picked up the cup of broth and took a sip. Inhaling the fumes as he moved it away from his face to set it back down.

Character: Calin Greyfang
Location: Orgrimmar
Within Orgrimmar an imp went running along the roof tops with a pack on his back. "Lucky bastards." He cursed as he ran by a bar seeing the drunks inside. He turned down a side street and jumped onto the road continuing his run until he stopped before a dress shop. He threw his body into the door as he pushed the giant door open and slipped inside.
"Is this the only color you have?" A voice from the changing room asked. "Yes mam." A female blood elf wearing a simple red dress said. "Not many people ask for violet and black." She added. "I guess this will work." The voice said as the curtain moved revealing a shapely blood elf with violet eyes and matching hair that was styled into curls down her back and was wearing a blue dress. "It does look nice." The imp said approaching the two. "Do you really think so Jibjub?" She asked. "Oh yes it makes you look even more...." He began to say before a swift kick sent him across the room. "Don't finish that." Calin interrupted before handing the seamstress the money for the dress before making her way outside.
"Sorry mistress." Jibjub said as he caught up to Calin as the two began to make there way to the Cleft of Shadows. "That was warning. Do not be making any comments about her." She said and Jibjub nodded as they entered the cleft.

Character:
Curho Demoneye
Location: Cleft of Shadows, Orgrimmar
A new demon?
Curho raised his head. There was a new demon... a new warlock, in the cleft. He stood and walked to the entrance of his hut, looking out. The strong smell of fel, intoxicating and... no, that was all it had to be, it drew his senses, his eyes, towards a blood elf.
"You're first time in the cleft," he called out to her, raising his hands to confirm he was talking to her, "at least, in some time, yes? What brings you down to this hole?"

Calin looked over to see a orc trying to talk to her. She was about to say something when Jibjub lightly tugged on her robe. "This one is strong. I can smell the fel from over here." The imp said causing Calin to shake her head. "Actually it's my first time here." She said to the orc.

Character
: Hans Jensley, Kirmyr Rivenport
Location
: Stormwind
There, infront of the wooden door leading to bickerstreet thirty-two stood a guard. Armed with rifle and the colors of stormwind. Aproaching him was a youth dressed in a dark grey trenchcoat, that could be no older than twenty-five years old.
"You the detective?" The guard asked, the expression on his face gave the idea that the man might have seen something horrid ineed.
"Eyup." The youngling answered. And pulled up the badge from the internal pocket on the right side of the coat.
"Allrighty then." The guardsman said, fear in voice. Fear of what? That was unknown for the detective.
The guard moved to the side and the detective opened the door to Bickerstreet thirty-two. Quickly came the smell of death as the detective entered the house.
The man moved to the main hall. And before him was the body of Geffry Hillings, loots of bloody around his body, but no foot prints on the blood. Across his large stomach and chest was several cuts as if some rabid beast had been lose and killed the butcher.
"These claw marks are not worgen..." He muttered as he ran his finger on the cuts, made by someone with four fingers and a thumb, not worgen as the worgens have three fingers and a thumb.
"Looks like the something took a snack." The detective tilted the dead mans head to the left to see the bite mark on the victims right neck more clearly.
On the mans stomach there was a bruise, covered by the cloth of his shirt but a tiny bit of it revealed by a cut thrugh the fabric by a claw. The detective pulled up the shirt to see it more clearly. The moment he saw it he steped back gasped. Fear in his eyes for what he had seen.
A brusie made by a hoof.
"D-d-demon." He stuttered. A demon had made it's kill in Stormwind.
He wrote down notes of what he had found out. The captian would surley want to know.
A hour later the detective was at the captains office and told the captain of what he had found. The only reply was that he spited out his coofe in suprice.
"Captain?" The detective asked.
"Are you sure?" The captain replied with a question.
"Yes, what else has hoofs, four fingered claws and sharp teeth?" He replied. The facts where clear enought. And the captain muttered something unhearable by the detctive. It sounded as if sad new where to be told. "I'll ask for a demologist to work with you on this case..." He said and wrote down a note.
And a hour later than that the newspappers began to print the latest new with the headlines of. "A Demon strikes in Stormwind." Followed by other headlines in the paper such as "Warlocks gone mad?"
And it was only natural that there was a number of witch-hunters, adventuares, demon-slayers and the like would come knocking on the door for a chanse of blood, gold and fame.
Aproacing the young detective (in the guards station) came a lady dressed in a black robe somewhat resembling the robes of lady proudmore but in a darker color. She looked almost as young as him, maybe one or three years younger.
"You needed a demologist?" The lass asked. Her body resting on a staff in her hand. The tip of the staff contained a glowing green gem.
"Ah yes. The name is Hans." He introduced himself.
"Pleased to meet you. I'm Kirmyr." She introduced herself aswell as is custom. "So we have a demon on the loose?" She asked with a raised brown eyebrow.

Character: ?
Location: Stormwind
The demon had done its job, and would continue to do its job so long as it wasn't caught. By association, the robbed figure's job was done too. Already out of Stormwind's gates, not wise to remain in the city, especially not for such a long period of time.
Character: Alexander Kaligan
Location: Stormwind
He was tall, very tall, a built as thick as an orc - but he was most certainly human. He walked towards the home, the thirty-second home on Bickerstreet. The guard still stood there, the same guard - his shift hadn't run out yet.
Alexander ignored him, heading straight for the door. He anticipated the guard would stop him, he was prepared to deal with him if he did.

"Sooo. Shall we look at the body again?" Kirmyr asked. Wanting to identify the demon if it was a demonic assult. She was the one to confirm.
"Sure!" Hans replied and gou out of his cair.
Soon the two began a hour stride down to the crime scene.
Cameras went of as they exited the station and a swarm of reporters asked them questions Hans ignored and Kirmyr unable to answer. Thankfully the didn't pester them to much. But their faces would soon be on the papers.
Character

He should have known better than to try.
Before the guard's eyes Kaligan's entire body doubled in size. His face grew out forward, his teeth became canine, and coarse black hair sprouted all across his body. In just a few seconds, the massive black-furred worgen was snarling with bared fangs down at the guard.
"Let. Me. Pass." He growled, his voice more bass than anything. This was the last chance he'd give the guard.

Character: Alexander Kaligan
Location: Stormwind
The bullet lodged itself in Alexander's back. The muscles quivered as the wounded closed over the bullet. He spun to the side and backhanded Williams across the face, with the intention of knocking him to the ground and stunning him while he searched the building for the body. He had picked up on the scent of death, he just had to follow it.

Williams was knocked to the side. The taste of blood filled his mouth. He once again pulled up his trusty rifle and shot at the worgen. This time he aimed for the knee, or the back of the knee.

The bullet struck Alexander in the back of his shoulder, knocking him into a forward stumble. He snarled but ignored the pain. The wound would close, he could deal with the bullets later. He followed the scent around the corner and into another room, out of William's line of sight.
