Hey guys thought of sharing some things with fellow WoW players.
I started playing WoW quite sometime ago, i know sounds bad but i started on an *ehem* server if you know what I mean. Then finally i decided to go legit and went on to get my first WoW copy. When I really started digging in to the WoW pie it was during the WOTLK days. I played on till Cata, started faltering between Cata and MOP.
So I started playing as an Alliance player on Barthilas and seriously Alliance really has held a soft spot for me, especially stormwind LOL iunno its something with the music and the city its just so nice. All this while levelling was done alone with no friends, as time went by i started making all sorts of characters to test out what I liked. Eventually one day I transferred from Barthilas Alliance to Thaurissan Horde, why? Basically it was getting so lonely playing alone and I heard there were tonnes of hordes on Thaurissan + lots of Singaporeans & Malaysians (I'm from SG so yeah)
Not long after joining thaurissan i found a nice local guild, SG guild, seriously IT WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME raid nights and stuff was SO SO SOOOO AWESOME. But nothing good lasts forever eventually slowly one by one started to leave for D3 and other stuff. It happened to me as well, you see my problem is I've left wow for other games like more then 10x and find myself slowly having this strange calling to return back to WoW haha. I admit that I'm a wow addict. Every MMORPG I join never lasts Rift, Eveonline, SWTOR, LOTRO, Rappelz, Rose Online, GuildWars they can't seem to satisfy my thirst for WORLD OF WARCRAFT. Desperation drove me to Runescape, Maplestory and even HABBO HOTEL hahahaha. I really want to make a come back but I just don't know where should I even begin. I've got way too many characters all at 80-85, half passed levelled.
80% of me feels like just %^&* it and make new alliance characters and level them but somehow I know i'm gonna run out of steam anytime cause levelling alone is gonna be not really that fun.
Well thats whats in my mind for now, I'm sorry this was so long I do appreciate you guys stopping by and reading this. Feel free to give me any advice or whatever you think might help me.
Hi I'm Kamale, and I'm a WoW addict.

I stopped playing several months before Mists came out. I have several 85s and tons of alts. What I plan in doing is making a new character, on a different realm (most likely the one where several Wowheaders are so I know some people). This way I can level and learn a character at the same time. After that I will most likely work on an 85 and relearn that class.
I would join you but right now I have no money, no Internet and my laptop sucks for playing wow. You can always look for someone that'll play with you. Or you can just level at your pace. Either just doing quests, dungeons or even bgs.
If you get bored play something else until you get the urge to continue playing.

At the risk of being pedantic, let remind you that an addiction to games in general is worse than being burned-out on WOW specifically.
Unsub from all your games for a few months. Every single one of them. They'll be waiting for you down the road, if you want to go back, but it sounds like you need to devote serious time to developing yourself instead of your various toons.
I say this as someone who used to play 60-80 hours a week, and was absolutely miserable doing it, so I grant I may looking at your post with a bit of tunnel vision.

Thanks for the replies guys. Hope other will keep em coming, I'd love to have my options laid out and keep and open mind.
@Tantrevalles, I've been a "Gameless" soul for months now actually ever since I started my new career which has been about a year now. Apart from gaming, everything else seems to be going swimmingly I'm not saying perfect but its ok. Just that I'm bored as heck and WoW's always on my mind, it brings back such sweet memories, even thinking about it now makes my heart relax a little. I actually remember how much wow used to help soothe a hectic day for me.
But I think what Nathanyal said was quite spot on, I need to find some buddies to come start with me and level together. In groups everything is much more fun especially since I haven't rolled a priest before so I could be the healer LOL
Dungeons would pop so quick while questing + heirlooms and a good level 25 guild we'd be flying haha

What advice is it that are you looking for? Coming to a Wow Forum to get "advice" on "wow addiction" is like going to a bar to get help with being an alcholic. All we will do is give you advice and answers that range from STFU and Play to STFU and Play a LOT.
Is your "wow addiction" causing you any disfunction? Are you neglecting your job, family or health because of wow? If the answer is no, then WTF is the problem. If the answer is yes, then to google with you and do a search for "help with online game addiction". Trust me some head shrinker or slef help group will gladly help you for a small fee.
I have played on and off since vanilla , I too went to TOR, Guild Wars 1 and 2, City of heros and a @#$%load of other games. I love playing video games and I came back for this latest expansion. I will play it until I am bored of it and move on to another game. If is a silly hobby, if your hobby is not consuming your life and causing your disfunction then enjoy!
